From September 9 to 13, the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) was held at the Shougang Park in Beijing. Sichuan Province set up a 100-square-meter comprehensive pavilion themed "Beautiful Sichuan, Charming Services" in Exhibition Zone 4. The province organized more than 30 enterprises from cities and prefectures including Chengdu and Mianyang, along with seven national-level and six provincial-level trade in services bases, to participate in the fair, comprehensively showcasing the development achievements and distinctive highlights of the province's trade in services.

As a key platform in the field of trade in services, CIFTIS facilitates open cooperation and innovative development in the service sector. During this year's fair, more than 30 Sichuan-based enterprises, including Mintu Technology, Sichuan Airlines, and Wuliangye, made a collective appearance, covering advantageous sectors such as culture, tourism and transportation, digital creativity, and biomedicine. The pavilion featured representative works of Shu brocade and Shu embroidery from the Western China Advanced Customization Center, alongside images and cultural creative products derived from the animation IP "All Wishes Come True", collectively promoting new technologies, models, and business formats in Sichuan's trade in services.
The Sichuan Comprehensive Pavilion integrated Bashu cultural symbols, including Sanxingdui, Zigong Lanterns, and giant pandas, into its spatial design to enhance brand recognition of "Sichuan Services". Meanwhile, digital and intelligent technologies such as glasses-free 3D, interactive sliding screens, AR interaction, and holographic digital humans were employed to create an immersive presentation of cultural heritage resources from Jiangkou Sunken Silver and the Three Su Ancestral Hall, achieving deep integration between cultural resources and digital exhibition.
It is reported that during this session of CIFTIS, Sichuan organized its participation in a "1+2+N" format: establishing one Sichuan Comprehensive Exhibition Pavilion, accompanied by two special events — the "Chengdu Products Going Global, Linking the World" Matchmaking Conference on Innovative Development of Chengdu's Trade in Services, and a special promotion event featuring Leshan's signature cuisine and service consumption under the theme "Leshan Flavor, Leshan Made".
In 2025, Sichuan's trade in services reached 144.93 billion yuan, ranking ninth nationwide and first among central and western regions. In the first half of this year, the province's import and export of services totaled 66.64 billion yuan, up 5% year-on-year. Notably, service exports stood at 32.64 billion yuan, surging 28.6%, outpacing the national average by 11 percentage points.
