The Yi Torch Festival, a nationally representative intangible cultural heritage project, is also the most recognizable and influential cultural tourism IP in Daliangshan. The 2026 Torch Festival will kick off on July 19, with an innovative "6+N" activity model—98 distinctive cultural tourism events will be held across all 17 counties (cities) of the prefecture, comprehensively polishing the "Colorful Liangshan · Summer Coolness" cultural tourism brand.
This year's Torch Festival features six major signature events carefully prepared by Liangshan, covering six dimensions: torch folk customs, mountain and water scenery, trendy music waves, fiery cuisine, citywide celebrations, and cultural galas. Each layer builds upon the last, offering a rich array of highlights and presenting visitors with an immersive, high-quality, and diverse cultural tourism extravaganza.
