    当“养生”成为海外博主每日课题,“前往中国旅游”成为社交新风尚……在中国国力稳步提升的背景下,不同文明相知相融正加速照进现实。中国文化在日常生活中的魅力,正在全球网友的镜头里生长出无数灵感。

    Recently, “healthy self-care” has become part of overseas content creators’ daily routines, while “China Travel” has sparked a new trend online. With China’s national strength steadily growing, the mutual understanding and integration of various civilizations are turning into a reality at a faster-than-ever pace. The allure of Chinese culture in everyday life is breeding numerous inspirations in the hearts and minds of netizens worldwide.

    为进一步加强国际传播能力建设和国际传播体系构建,4月16日,“灵感中国 Inspiration”文化交流对话会在成都举行。作为第十三届中国网络视听大会主体活动的重要组成部分,本次对话会由四川省广播电视局、四川日报报业集团主办,四川国际传播中心承办,川观新闻、川观智库、封面新闻、《新闻界》协办,吸引超80名“出海”相关领域的专家学者、行业大咖、OTA平台负责人、海外创作者及市县相关负责人共聚一堂,探讨如何借助国际化视听语言、智能化传播技术和全球化社交平台,推动更多始于兴趣、臻于认同的“双向奔赴”,在多元文化交流中重塑中国与世界联结的方式。

    The “Inspiration” Cultural Exchange Forum was held in Chengdu on April 16, aiming to further strengthen systems of international communication and related capabilities. As a highlight among the main events of the 13th China Internet Audio & Video Convention 2026, the Forum was hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Radio and Television and Sichuan Daily Press Group, organized by the Sichuan International Communication Center (hereinafter referred to as SICC), and co-organized by Chuanguan News, Chuanguan Think Tank, Cover News, and Journalism and Mass Communication. The Forum brought together over 80 experts, scholars, industry leaders, OTA platform executives, overseas content creators, and officials from municipal and county-level authorities — all working in fields related to global outreach. All attendees engaged in discussion and explored how to leverage international audiovisual languages, intelligent communication technologies, and global social media platforms to fuel greater mutual passion — a passion that is ignited by shared interest in the ultimate goal of mutual understanding. By doing so, the way China connects with the world will be reshaped through multicultural exchange.

    活动现场,四川国际传播中心携手四川大学华西医院、北京语言大学世界汉学中心、浙江大学传媒与国际文化学院等,集中发布了多个跨文化交流合作计划;PandaGuide熊猫指南Trip.com官方旗舰店、四川国际传播中心海外APP“CallYourPanda”同步上线,“万千气象”AI工坊暨2026四川省外国留学生短视频征集大赛正式启动。

    At the event, the SICC joined hands with West China Hospital of Sichuan University, the World Sinology Center of Beijing Language and Culture University, and the College of Media and International Culture of Zhejiang University to launch a series of initiatives for cross-cultural exchange and cooperation. PandaGuide’s Official Flagship Store on Trip.com and the SICC’s overseas app “CallYourPanda” have launched simultaneously, alongside the launch of the “Capture Your Moments in Sichuan” AI Workshop and the 2026 Sichuan International Students Short Video Competition.

    Capturing Global Attention: Four Major Cross-Cultural Exchange and Cooperation Initiatives Unveiled

    随着中国全面放宽优化过境免签政策,推出一系列便利外国人来华的政策举措,说走就走的“中国游”打开了世界了解中国的新窗口。与此同时,海外社交媒体上,许多外国网友晒出喝热水、泡枸杞、穿拖鞋、练八段锦、煮苹果水的日常,中式养生与生活方式成为青年新时尚。如何抓住这波流量,向世界展现真实、多元和活力满满的中国形象?活动着眼进一步增强国际经济文化交流合作,与会嘉宾畅所欲言。

    China has comprehensively relaxed and optimized its visa-free transit policy and introduced a slew of measures to facilitate foreigners’ inbound travel to the country. In this context, “Spontaneous China Travel” has gone from inconceivable to easily achievable, opening a new window for the world into the country. Meanwhile, a new phenomenon can be seen on numerous overseas social media platforms: Foreigners have started sharing their daily routines, such as drinking hot water, enjoying goji berry tea, wearing slippers at home, practicing Baduanjin, and making apple tea. All of these have helped ignite a new lifestyle trend of Chinese-style healthy self-care among young people the world over. So then, how can we capitalize on this increased attention to present an authentic, diverse, and vibrant China to the world? The answer put forward at this event is to emphasize further enhancing international economic and cultural exchange and cooperation, encouraging attendees to speak out freely on the matter.

    华西医院教务部副部长、外科学系(外科)副主任游蓁、冰岛前驻华公使、北京语言大学世界汉学中心特聘专家鲍德松、浙江大学传媒与国际文化学院副院长赵瑜佩分别从医疗援外的真实叙事、全球汉学的文明传播、电竞数字文化的青年连接三个角度,分享了国际传播的多元实践与生动案例。

    Attendees included You Zhen, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office and Deputy Director of a surgical department at West China Hospital; Ragnar Baldursson, Iceland’s former minister counselor to China and Specially Appointed Expert at the World Sinology Center of Beijing Language and Culture University; and Zhao Yupei, Deputy Dean of the College of Media and International Culture of Zhejiang University. They shared a wide range of different practices and vivid case studies in international communication from 3 distinct perspectives: authentic narratives of China’s overseas medical aid, the dissemination of Chinese culture through global sinology development, and the role of esports and digital culture as a bridge connecting young people.

    故事之外,行动者的足迹同样动人:蜀道集团四川路桥国际公司总工程师黄靓讲述了基建企业如何通过将大型基础设施建设与工业、环境投资相结合,推动城市转型的共商共建共享故事,让与会者深刻感受到经济奠基、文化引路、媒体增效的影响力;美国自媒体创作者Dante Muñoz则从个人视角出发,分享了“从China Travel到Becoming Chinese”全球流行趋势的独家观察。

    Beyond the stories, equally inspiring are the journeys of individual doers. Huang Jing, Chief Engineer at Sichuan Road and Bridge International Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shudao Investment Group Co., Ltd., recounted how infrastructure companies can drive urban transformation by integrating large-scale infrastructure projects with industrial and environmental investments through extensive consultation and joint contribution for shared benefits, allowing attendees to gain an in-depth understanding of the synergy of economic foundations, cultural guidance, and media amplification. Furthermore, US-based social media content creator Dante Muñoz shared his unique observations on the global trend of “From China Travel to Becoming Chinese” from his perspective.

    With the China Internet Audio & Video Convention 2026 providing an international platform, West China Hospital of Sichuan University, the World Sinology Center of Beijing Language and Culture University, the College of Media and International Culture of Zhejiang University, and the SICC have respectively unveiled their cross-cultural exchange initiatives planned for 2026. Among them, the “Panda Healthcare Companion” Initiative stresses the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine and international cooperation, enabling Chinese medical solutions to reach global audiences in a more open-hearted manner. As another initiative, the “Tianfu Sinology Exchange Initiative”, deeply rooted in the Chinese language, connects sinologists from 103 countries and 67 languages backgrounds. This initiative aims to invite sinologists from all over the world to Sichuan to explore Tianfu’s profound civilization. The “Silk Road Esports” Global Youth Digital Exchange Initiative seeks to transform digital and intelligent competitions into bridges spanning mountains and seas, using esports, a “universal language”, to foster cultural exchange among young people worldwide. The “Global Pen Program” promises to establish an open and diverse platform for international idea exchange and bring together experienced global media professionals, columnists, and think tank experts to offer a variety of insights into global hotspot issues.

    据了解,目前四川国际传播中心已初步建立起一支覆盖全球52个国家的国际专家学者队伍,海外浏览量突破千万。当天除邀请外籍学者到场见证外,来自西班牙、法国、美国和孟加拉国等国的专家学者和媒体人纷纷发来视频寄语。

    It is reported that the SICC has preliminarily established a team of international experts and scholars covering 52 countries, with content’s overseas views exceeding 10 million. In addition to foreign scholars who attended the event, other experts, scholars, and media professionals from countries including Spain, France, the United States, and Bangladesh showed their support through videos.

    In recent years, “Black Myth: Wukong” has sparked a “Craze for ‘Journey to the West’” overseas with its rich Chinese mythological elements and exceptional production quality. “Ne Zha 2”, this Chinese animated film rooted in Eastern mythology, has become the highest-grossing film in a single market anywhere in the world. However, many more treasures of Chinese culture have not entered the international mainstream spotlight. How can China effectively expand the global visibility of its IPs? A roundtable forum titled “A New Paradigm for Chinese IPs Going Global” sparked deep discussion. Attendees including Liu Zhen, Vice President of Beijing Kuaishou Technology Co., Ltd.; Xu Yan, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Emeishan Municipal Committee; and Zhang Li, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Shehong Municipal Committee, engaged in a lively dialogue. They focused on topics such as localized operations, innovation in inbound tourism, and overseas city marketing. The attendees proposed the model of “IPs Going Global + Attracting Visitors to Sichuan”, extending a sincere invitation to global visitors for “Spontaneous China Travel”.

    With the SICC as a key partner, CMIC Culture & Technology Co., Ltd. launched the “Oriental Surging, Global Roaming” program. Leveraging a model of “Content × IPs × Channels × Business”, the initiative aims to create a full-chain pathway from traffic acquisition to industrial implementation, empowering iconic Sichuan IPs, such as the giant panda, Sanxingdui, the Three Kingdoms, and Sichuan cuisine, to be known outside of fixed circles and go global. Meanwhile, Trip.com Group officially launched “PandaGuide’s Official Flagship Store on Trip.com”. From trending landmark guides and visa and transportation services to immersive experiences including intangible cultural heritage crafts and hiking experiences in Sichuan’s hidden scenic spots, the platform offers one-stop services that lead global travelers to happily take part in “Sichuan Ease”. In addition, the Publicity Department of the CPC Emeishan Municipal Committee and the Publicity Department of the CPC Shehong Municipal Committee, together with the SICC, released the premium inbound cultural tourism route of “Martial Arts Appreciation in Emeishan · Artistic Immersion in Shehong”. The route draws the world closer to the East’s poetic charm amid Emeishan’s misty clouds at the Golden Summit, and the essence of poetry and prose of the Tang and Song dynasties while savoring Shehong’s wheat fields and fragrant liquor. This collaboration also nurtured the SICC’s first county-level international communication studios, giving rise to a province-city-county collaborative international communication system.

    当天,四川国际传播中心海外APP“CallYourPanda”在海外应用市场正式上线。作为全球首个熊猫粉丝专属社交平台应用程序,该APP将集纳熊猫动态分享、粉丝互动和全球打榜等功能,面向海外用户打造数字“熊猫老家”。

    On the same day, the SICC’s overseas app “CallYourPanda” was officially launched on overseas app stores. As the world’s first social media platform exclusively for panda fans, the app integrates functions such as panda updates, fan interactions, and global chart rankings, creating a digital “Panda Home” for overseas users.

    作为该APP的首个运营活动,四川国际传播中心携手北京快手科技有限公司可灵AI、川观新闻共同发起“万千气象”AI工坊暨2026四川省外国留学生短视频征集大赛,向全省高校影视、动画、数字媒体专业学生及市县融媒体中心从业者发出AI创作征集令,以技术赋能创作生态、推动文化交流,更好地服务四川高水平对外开放。

    To mark the app’s first operational campaign, the SICC collaborated with Kling AI under Beijing Kuaishou Technology Co., Ltd. and Chuanguan News to launch the “Capture Your Moments in Sichuan” AI Workshop and the 2026 Sichuan International Students Short Video Competition. It extends an open call for AI-generated works to college students majoring in film and television, animation, and digital media across Sichuan’s higher education institutions, as well as professionals from city- and county-level converged media centers. This campaign aims to empower creativity with technology, promote cultural exchange, and elevate Sichuan’s high-level opening-up.
