The 24th China International Alcoholic Drinks Expo (CIADE) will be held from March 19 to 22, at the Luzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. As the first major alcoholic drinks industry event of 2026, this edition is themed "Toast to China, Savor the World". It will feature 10 exhibition zones and a newly added Production Area Demonstration Zone. Nearly 1,000 brands from close to 50 countries and regions, covering all categories of alcoholic drinks, will participate. Professional visitors, industry leaders, and cultural ambassadors from 7 countries have been specially invited to attend.

On February 27, the press conference for The 24th China International Alcoholic Drinks Expo was held in Chengdu, Sichuan.
On-site activities will include a grand prize draw with a top cash award of 100,000 RMB, a free tasting area offering 1,500 kilograms of fine beverages, and special promotions on over 1,000 products from participating enterprises, alongside more than 3,500 types of Luzhou local specialties.
51 concurrent events are scheduled, including high-level forums such as the International Alcoholic Drinks Development Conference and the Production Area Ecology Forum. Creative activities will encompass the Most Beautiful Wine Bottle Design Competition, the "Find the Golden Palate" Public Tasting Competition, the "Spring River, Wine, Moonlit Night" Intangible Cultural Heritage Skills Showcase, Chinese-style Specialty Cocktail Exhibitions, the "CIADE Time" experience zone, and trendy beverage parties. Complementary events like an urban auto show and the Luzhou Laojiao Super Live Concert Tour will also be held.
According to the organizers, the industry is undergoing a profound transformation driven by artificial intelligence. A dedicated "Digital & Intelligent Innovation Zone" at the expo will showcase mature AI applications in areas like brewing process optimization, quality control, supply chain management, and consumer profiling. Core segments, including the presentation of the "Qingzhuo Award", will deeply integrate AI technology.
As the Guest Country of Honor, Thailand will host a Thailand National Pavilion, showcasing signature products such as traditional rice wine "Sato", Thai-style beverages, and wines produced locally in Sichuan by renowned Thai enterprises.
Luzhou City is China's only origin place for both strong-aroma and sauce-aroma premium baijiu and is ranked among the "World's Top Ten Liquor Producing Regions". It is home to two renowned brands, Luzhou Laojiao and Langjiu, and holds the title of "World-Class Baijiu Industrial Cluster". Since the first "Luzhou Famous Liquor Festival" in 1987, Luzhou has hosted annual industry gatherings for 40 consecutive years. The scale of the expo has grown nearly 80-fold, from over 7,000 participants to 560,000 attendees in 2025, with its reach expanding to more than 50 countries and regions globally.
