The construction of the Dashi Expressway has reached a significant milestone. On November 30, the right side of the Bahe River Bridge successfully completed its side span closure and the main bridge section was fully connected. This bridge serves as a core hub of the Dashi Expressway. Once operational, it will link the Zhen'guang Expressway and the Dazhou Ring Expressway West, opening up an exit to western Sichuan from Dazhou, benefiting over 600,000 people and connecting 12 industrial parks.

The Bahe River Bridge is located in Qiaowan Town, Dachuan District, Dazhou City, spanning 638 meters in length and 23.5 meters in width. It is invested in by Dazhou Daoda Transportation Development Co., Ltd. and constructed by China MCC Group Co., Ltd. During construction, the project team overcame several technical challenges, including the construction of hollow pier structures up to 51 meters high, utilizing a lock-barrel steel pipe pile cofferdam scheme, which proved to be more efficient and economical than traditional methods.

The Dashi Expressway stretches 37.5 kilometers in length with a designed speed limit of 60 kilometers per hour, playing a vital part in the transportation network of northeast Sichuan. Once opened to traffic, the expressway will shorten the distance between the Dachuan District and Shiqiao Town, improve travel conditions, promote industrial collaboration, and boost the social and economic development of northeast Sichuan.
