四川省第二中医医院始建于1966年，系当代四川中医药临床、科研、教学事业重要发祥地。经历半世纪的风雨历程，沉淀了天道、地道、人道、医道的“四道文化”让“四道中医”成为中医药走向世界的重要力量。

Founded in 1966, the Sichuan Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a key institution in the development of clinical practice, research, and education in Sichuan's TCM sector. Over the past half-century, the hospital has cultivated the philosophy of the Sidao Principles and promoted hospital's doctors as a significant force in promoting TCM worldwide.

自1974年首次派出医疗专家执行援非医疗任务以来，医院派出共九批12人次医疗专家完成在莫桑比克、阿联酋、几内亚比绍、佛得角、东帝汶、柬埔寨等国家的援外任务。

Since dispatching its first medical experts on an aid mission to Africa in 1974, the hospital has sent nine batches of 12 medical professionals to provide medical assistance in Mozambique, the United Arab Emirates, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde, Timor-Leste, Cambodia, and other countries.

2016年9月，医院与阿曼苏丹国皇室办公厅签署了合作备忘录，派出两批15人次驻阿曼医疗队在阿曼苏丹皇家医院开展中医药特色服务，服务量占同期全省中医药海外服务量的2/3。

In September 2016, the hospital signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Royal Office of the Sultanate of Oman, sending two medical teams comprising 15 experts to provide specialized TCM services at the Sultan Qaboos University Hospital. These services accounted for two-thirds of Sichuan's overseas TCM medical services during the same period.

医院先后承办了第一届国际班、非洲法语国家针灸培训班、非洲布隆迪医护人员培训班、发展中国家医院技师培训班、葡萄牙语国家卫生官员及专业技术人员培训班等，以及日本中医学会、台湾高雄市武术协会和香港东华学院师生团的参观交流。

The hospital has also hosted numerous international training programs, including the First International Class on Acupuncture, acupuncture training sessions for Francophone African countries, medical staff training for Burundi, hospital technician training for developing nations, and programs for Portuguese-speaking health officials and professionals. Additionally, it has welcomed delegations for academic exchange, including the Japan Traditional Chinese Medicine Association, the Taiwan Kaohsiung Wushu Association, and students and faculty from Hong Kong's Tung Wah College.

在卡塔尔多哈建成“天府云医 •海外惠侨远程医疗站”，在法国成功举办中医药文化系列活动，进一步推进“川派中医”走向世界各地。

The hospital has established the Tianfu Cloud Doctor telemedicine for Overseas Chinese in Doha, Qatar, and successfully hosted a series of TCM cultural events in France, further expanding the global reach of Sichuan-style TCM.

医院领导先后访问黑山、德国、匈牙利、荷兰、柬埔寨、越南、马来西亚、摩洛哥、卡塔尔、土耳其等国家和参加第二届中阿卫生合作论坛。

Hospital representatives have also visited Montenegro, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Morocco, Qatar, Turkey, and other countries and participated in the Second China-Arab Health Cooperation Forum.

同时医院专家先后受邀参加第一次日中中医学研究会公开讲座；国务院侨务办公室主办的“中华川菜·世界品味”、“中医关怀”系列活动，走进津巴布韦、西班牙、阿尔巴尼亚；俄罗斯布里亚特共和国东方医学中心交流学习；埃及、肯尼亚、南非开展的四川中医名家海外惠侨巡诊活动。

Hospital experts have been invited to the First Japan-China TCM Research Symposium and the TCM medical exchange programs under the "Chinese Cuisine, Global Flavor" organized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council in Zimbabwe, Spain, and Albania. Additionally, the hospital has engaged in academic exchanges at the Buryatia Oriental Medicine Center in Russia and participated in overseas TCM consultation and treatment programs in Egypt, Kenya, and South Africa.

近年来，中医药事业再一次迎来发展机遇，回首往事，“四道中医”世界之旅精彩纷呈；展望未来，随着中医药强省和国家中医药综合改革示范区建设，四道中医将走向更广阔的空间。

Recently, TCM has entered a new era of growth and opportunity. Looking back, the hospital's global journey has been both remarkable and impactful. Looking ahead, with Sichuan's ambition to become a leading TCM province and a national pilot zone for comprehensive TCM reform, the hospital is poised to be an even broader global stage.
