On March 18, the China Alcoholic Drinks Association held a press conference for the 22nd China International Alcoholic Drinks Expo at the Sichuan Press Conference Hall. Approved by China’s Ministry of Commerce, the China International Alcoholic Drinks Expo has evolved into a comprehensive international liquor exhibition and now serves as a global exchange platform for wine culture, a convergence center for liquor brands, a showcase for advanced intelligent liquor equipment, and a premier venue for new product launches. The 22nd edition will take place from March 27 to 30, 2025 at the Luzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. As the permanent host city of the expo, Luzhou will once again become the global focal point of the international liquor industry, attracting worldwide attention.

This edition features five distinctive characteristics that integrate industrial and market sectors, supply chains, and domestic and international dimensions, with special emphasis on consumption orientation. It embodies five core attributes: industrialization, market orientation, social engagement, internationalization, and digitalization.

The expo will occupy over 80,000 square meters of exhibition space across 10 specialized zones: premium Chinese baijiu, wine and fruit wines, infused liquors, beer carnival, imported wines and international distilled spirits, traditional Chinese huangjiu, culinary brewing wines, regional specialty liquors, vintage collections, and liquor equipment or packaging materials.

Global participants including exhibitors, buyers, and investors from major wine-producing countries and regions will gather in Luzhou for business negotiations and cooperative exploration. This year's event will feature over 200 international wine and spirits enterprises, with more than 50 national pavilions established. Dedicated international premium and comprehensive exhibition halls will be specially designed to enhance global understanding of Chinese premium liquors and facilitate Chinese fine wines' expansion into international markets.
