Studying in Sichuan? A trip to Leshan is a must! If you ask Ata, an international student from Indonesia, what left the deepest impression on her during her visit to Leshan, she'll undoubtedly smile and reply, "Zi Mo Ge Ni"—a Yi phrase meaning "auspicious and joyful."

Having done her research in advance, Ata couldn't wait to explore Leshan's culinary scene. She headed straight to the city center, diving into the foodie paradise of Zhanggongqiao Snack Street and Shangzhongshun Commercial Street.

Leshan, known for its diverse flavors and unique dishes, didn't disappoint. From Boboji (cold skewers) and sweet-skinned duck to crispy rice cakes and tofu pudding, the variety of tastes-spicy, sour, sweet, and savory-overwhelmed her senses. She exclaimed with delight, "This is truly a foodie's heaven! Every flavor you can imagine is here!"

But Leshan isn't just about food-it's also a treasure trove of cultural and scenic wonders. Ata ventured to Ebian, a hidden gem nicknamed "Little Liangshan." Known as "Jiazhiyida" in the Yi language, meaning "River of Silk," Ebian is nestled at the foot of Mount Emei and along the banks of the Dadu River.

The day Ata arrived, the tranquil mountain town came alive with music and dance, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Ebian Yi Autonomous County. To Ata's surprise, this visitor from afar was warmly invited to join the festivities, experiencing firsthand the charm of Yi culture and witnessing the incredible progress made over four decades.

What exactly happened that made Ata remember the phrase "Zi Mo Ge Ni" so vividly? What other fun and fascinating adventures did she have in Leshan?
