Many people find it hard to imagine what China was like more than 60 years ago. Recently, we borrowed a camera produced in 1960 from Chinese media practitioners and obtained local image materials spanning nearly 70 years recorded by Chinese media.

这次资料的收集，得益于中国四川报业博物馆开馆。在这座博物馆里，你可以清晰地看到四川省报业发展相关文献资料、影像资料、采编用具、印刷设施设备等360多件藏品。从接近70年的真实资料里，你可以看到BBC、CNN、纽约时报等无法提供给你的真正的中国。

This collection of materials owes its existence to the opening of the Sichuan Newspaper Museum in China. In this museum, you can explore more than 360 pieces of documents, image materials, interview and editorial tools, and printing facilities and equipment related to the development of the newspaper industry in Sichuan Province. Through these authentic materials of nearly 70 years, you can gain insight into the genuine China, an experience beyond what BBC, CNN, New York Times, and other newspapers can offer.
