What does it feel like to be sitting in a house full of bags of Huanglian (Coptis Chinensis) that are worth a million RMB yuan (approx. 140,000 USD)?

黄连是一种传统中药材，在中国有几千年的应用与栽培历史。四川自古以来便是优质黄连产区，位于四川省绵阳市的天池村，海拔在1000—2000米，雨水充沛，土壤肥沃，十分适宜黄连生长。全村有100多户种植黄连，近两年黄连年产量均在100吨以上。

Huanglian is a traditional Chinese medicinal herb with a history of cultivation and application spanning thousands of years in China. Sichuan has been known since ancient times as a high-quality producer of Huanglian. Tianchi Village, located in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, sits at an altitude of 1000-2000 meters, with abundant rainfall and fertile soil, making it very suitable for the growth of Huanglian. The village has over 100 households engaged in Huanglian cultivation, and in the past two years, the annual yield of Huanglian has consistently exceeded 100 tons.
