杨秀蓉来自成都新津，她有多个游戏账号，“夕阳红阿姨”“52岁阿姨打王者”都是她。去年，杨秀蓉和女儿联手，在该游戏电竞全国大赛成都赛点中获得了冠军。

Coming from Xinjin District, Chengdu, Yang Xiurong owns multiple game accounts, such as ‘Sunset Glow Aunt’ and ‘52-year-old Aunt Playing Honor of Kings’. Last year, Yang Xiurong teamed up with her daughter to win first place in the Chengdu Division of the National Esports Competition.

谈及游戏入坑的理由，杨秀蓉表示，2016年初看见女儿“小浪浪”在玩电竞游戏，为了更多地陪伴女儿，自己也开始慢慢摸索学习。“中老年人玩游戏反应比较慢，所以我就专门给小浪浪打辅助。”母女之间多年的默契让杨秀蓉成为了游戏里的金牌辅助，“有时候我们不在一起，但通过游戏我们也可以语音聊天，这是一种很重要的陪伴方式。”

When it comes to reasons for focusing on the game, Yang Xiurong explained that at the beginning of 2016, she saw her daughter ‘Xiaolanglang’ playing this game and then began to explore and learn it for herself, to spend more time with her daughter. As Yang Xiurong herself said: “Middle-aged and elderly people show a slower reaction to games, so I especially like playing a supporting role to Xiaolanglang”. Yang Xiurong became the strongest support in the game by building on the years of tacit understanding between her and her daughter, “Although sometimes we don’t stay together, we can voice chat together over the game, which is called a truly significant way to keep each other company”, she added.

2023年4月，杨秀蓉和另外四位来自全国各地的同龄人一起组成了“夕阳红战队”，战队五人的平均年龄有55岁。相较于年轻人，“夕阳红战队”不在意输赢，更注重游戏本身带给他们的快乐和感动。

In April 2023, Yang Xiurong and four other peers from all over the country formed the ‘Sunset Glow Team’, with an average age of 55 for them. Compared with young people, this team pays more attention to the joy and fun it all brings to them, without caring so much about winning or losing.

杨秀蓉说：“最重要的是展现中老年人的生活，年轻人行的，我们也行，可以一直玩到老。”
