His hometown is Guanling Bouyei and Miao Autonomous County, Anshun City, Guizhou Province, a place with well-preserved and distinct Bouyei Ethnic Minority characteristics. Compared to other types of embroidery, Bouyei Embroidery features fresh and elegant colors such as cyan, blue, and white,and Batik-print craftsmanship and brocade used in Bouyei Embroidery also embody profound meaning.
6年前,王良洪和好友在贵州省南部的望谟县成立工作室。他向绣娘们系统学习刺绣技艺,并在其中加入创新元素。如今,他计划打造一个涵盖民族服饰、生活潮牌等一系列的生活产品。
Six years ago, Wang Lianghong and his friends established a studio in Wangmo County, southern Guizhou Province, where he began to comprehensively study systematic embroidery from women who were experts in that craftand then added some innovative elements. Nowadays, Wang Lianghong plans to focus on creating a series of life products covering ethnic clothes and trendy brands.
2021年5月24日,布依族刺绣被列入第五批国家级非物质文化遗产名录。
On May 24, 2021, Bouyei Embroidery was selected for the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List’s fifth batch.
