乡城，藏语“恰称”的汉语音译，含义是手中的佛珠，被誉为香巴拉之地。乡城最具有辨识度的身份标志，就是那些错落有致，古朴典雅的白藏房。因此也被称为遗落在川西高原的“白珍珠”。

Xiangcheng, the Chinese transliteration of "Qiacheng" in Tibetan language, refers to FO ZHU (Buddhist Prayer Beads) and is known as the real-life land of Shambhala. Here, the most recognizable identifying symbol is those scattered, ancient, and classic white Tibetan houses. For this reason, it is called the "forgotten white pearl" on the West Sichuan Plateau.
