他从撒哈拉沙漠来到中国，被中医及其蕴藏的中国文化吸引，不仅一路读到博士，还留在中国行医30多年，培养了5000多名乡村医生。他就是来自马里共和国的医学博士、国际志愿者迪亚拉。

Diarra Boubacar, a medical doctor and international volunteer from the Republic of Mali, came to China from the Sahara desert, and was attracted by traditional Chinese medicine and its lesser-known place in Chinese culture. He not only obtained his doctorate degree, but also practised medicine for more than 30 years in China, and has trained over 5,000 rural doctors.

迪亚拉 DIARRA BOUBACAR，马里籍，教授、中医博士。于1986年进入广州中医学院攻读本科学位，1997年在成都中医药大学攻读博士学位，并成为首位获得中医博士学位的外籍人士，目前定居成都。

DIARRA BOUBACAR, coming from Mali, is a professor and traditional Chinese medicine doctor, and is now living in Chengdu. He studied at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine for his bachelor’s degree from 1986, and then studied at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for his doctorate in 1997, where he became the first foreigner to obtain a doctorate degree in traditional Chinese medicine.
