Enjoy the "Poetry and Wine Life" of Su Dongpo and Huang Tingjian through "Yao Zi Xue Qu"  

At 15:00 on March 30, a discussion salon with the theme "The Life of Su Dongpo in Poetry and Wine" was held at Meishan Dongpo City Wetland Park, Sichuan Province, with a romantic spring day and a cup of "Yao Zi Xue Qu."

The event was organized by Sichuan International Communication Center, supported by Chuanguan News, Chuanguan Think Tank and Journalism and Mass Communicationmagazine,supported by the CommunicationDepartment of MeishanCity, with exceptional support from Wuliangye Group as an honorary partner.

"Yao Zi Xuequ," the predecessor of Wuliangye, was also the favorite wine of Huang Tingjian, the great poet of the Northern Song Dynasty. As a close friend of Su Dongpo, Huang Tingjian, like Su Dongpo, had a unique "life of poetry and wine."

Today, more than 900 years later, Huang Tingjian's favorite "Yao Zi Xue Qu" came from Yibin to Su Dongpo's hometown, allowing the world to witness their friendship and literary works once again.

Su Shi and Huang Tingjian are both poets of the Song style, and they are known together as "Su Huang".

In the " culture of poetry and wine", Su Dongpo and Huang Tingjian are both well known for their masterpieces.

In their friendship, Su and Huang left over a hundred pieces of poetry and harmony, many of which are on the topic of poetry and wine.

"Wine, it seems, has given Su Dongpo a lot of inspiration." Zhang Guohua, director of the China Su Shi Research Association and deputy editor of Sichuan Lexicographical Press, shared his research on Su Dongpo. He said there are many intentions of wine in Su Dongpo's poems, such as "Shuitong Gedou."

From an intuitive and quantitative perspective, the close relationship between Su Shi's literature and wine can be better seen.According to Lu Jie's statistics, there are more than 450 poems in which the word "wine" appears in the title or the poems, accounting for about one-sixth of the total number of poems. 112 of the 317 Su lyrics in Xue Ruisheng's "Chronological Notes on Su Shi's Lyrics" are about wine, accounting for about one-third of the lyrics.

He also wrote immortal poems to praise the deliciousness of Yao Zi Xuequ after drinking.

The friendship between Su Dongpo and Huang Tingjian has been praised by the world until day.

"In Yibin's Cuiping District, where the Wuliangye Group is located, there is a town named Sipo Town - because Huang Tingjian missed Su Dongpo and built a building in the present Sipo Town with a handwritten plaque of 'Sipo' in front of the building.." In this cultural salon, Zeng Linxiang from Wuliangye Group talked about the remarkable friendship between Su Dongpo and Huang Tingjian.

In 1079, the "Wutai poetry case" started, and Su Shi was deported to Huangzhou, and all his close associates were implicated. At that time, some people were eager to deny their relationship with Su Dongpo, but Huang Tingjian tried his best to help him.

When Su Shi had a hard time, Huang Tingjian continued to write letters and poems to him. With such a friend, it would not be a pity to die." Zeng Linxiang said.

Huang Tingjian is one of the four students of the Su, but what makes the world admire is their friendship and masterpieces. During his three years of teaching in the capital, Su Dongpo often enlightened Huang Tingjian. They often discussed practicing art and poetry together, as both had a high level of calligraphy and painting.

After the death of Su Dongpo, Huang Tingjian wrote poems to express his sadness and remembrance of Su Dongpo.

To experience the great friendship between "Su Huang", "Yao Zi Xue Qu" is undoubtedly the best choice.

Today, Yao Zi Xuequ, which carries the culture of Chinese poetry and wine, has become a representative of Chinese liquor culture, with its five kinds of grains, including wheat, rice, glutinous rice, sorghum, and corn. It represents Chinese liquor on international stages such as Boao Forum for Asia, Universal Exposition, and APEC Forum, leading Chinese liquor worldwide.
