"Vertical-eyed Cloud" is coming! "Inspirational China Digital Dongpo" New Audiovisual Forum held in Chengdu  

纵目寰宇，连接世界。3月29日在成都举行的“灵感中国 数字东坡”新视听论坛上，以智能算法为核心的“纵目云”国际传播智能技术平台正式发布，开启人工智能技术与国际传播产业深度融合、赋能国际传播能力建设的崭新探索。

On March 29, the "Inspirational China Digital Dongpo" New Audiovisual Forum held in Chengduo fficially introduced the "Vertical-eyed Cloud" International Communication Intelligent Technology Platform with the intelligent algorithm as itscore, embarking ona new exploration ofdeep integration of artificial intelligence and international communication, and enabling the construction of China's international communication capacity.

作为第十届中国网络视听大会的重要组成部分，本次论坛由中国网络视听节目服务协会指导，四川省广播电视局、四川日报报业集团主办，四川国际传播中心承办，川观新闻、川观智库、《新闻界》协办，邀请到海内外网络视听头部平台和创作机构代表、苏学研究及国际传播领域专家大咖共聚一堂，就“网络视听赋能中华文化传播”交流经验、分享洞见，在传承创新东坡文化中坚定文化自信，助力网络视听行业提升国际传播效能。

As an important part of the 10th China Internet Audiovisual Convention. The forum is hosted by Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Radio and Television, Sichuan Daily Press Group, organized by Sichuan International Communication Center, and co-organized by Chuanguan News, Chuanguan Think Tank and "Press Circles", under the guidance of the China Netcasting Services Association (CNSA). Representatives of online audiovisual institutes at home and abroad, experts of Su Dongpo studies and scholars in the field of international communication will be invited to share insights on the topic of "Chinese cultural communication empowerment through internet audio-visual media. " The forum strengthens China's cultural confidence through the inheritance and innovation of Dongpo culture. It empowers the internet audiovisual industry to improve the effectiveness of international communication.

论坛上，苏东坡、苏小妹两名数字人“空降”现场，与嘉宾一道聆听国家广电总局发展研究中心国际传播研究所所长朱新梅等专家、“意公子”等网络视听行业优秀代表、中国苏轼研究学会会长周裕锴教授等苏学大咖的主旨演讲、创作分享、圆桌对话；一同启动“神秘蜀韵 百部川扬”全球短视频征集大赛暨“灵感中国·东坡之旅”采风活动；现场见证四川国际传播中心与G20青年企业家联盟、中意设计交流中心结为战略合作伙伴关系，与北京师范大学签署东坡文化国际传播领域合作备忘录，与清华大学新闻与传播学院共建教学实践/专业实践基地并发布“国际传播启航计划”……携手各方开启文化交流、经贸合作、城市营销、人才培养、技术赋能等领域的国际传播新探索。

Two special guests—digital humans Su Dongpo and Su Xiaomei, showed up at the forum. Together with the guests, theylisten to the keynote speeches, creativity sharing, and have a roundtable discussion. The forum invited experts such as Zhu Xinmei, the director of the National Radio and Television Administration's International Studies Department of the Development Research Center, representatives in the internet audiovisual industry such as "Yi Gongzi," and experts in Su Dongpo studies including Professor Zhou Yukai, the president of China Society of the Study on Su Shi. At the same time, the forum officially launched the "Mysterious Civilization: Sichuan In Camera Lens"global short video contest and the "Inspirational China Dongpo's Journey"expedition. It also initiated a series of essential contracts and project releases, including Sichuan International Communication Center's strategic cooperative partnership with G20 Young Entrepreneurs' Alliance and the Sino-Italian Design Exchange Center, the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with Beijing Normal University (BNU) regarding international communication of Dongpo culture, and the establishment of a teaching practice/professional practice base and the release of the "International Communication Set-SailPlan" with the School of Journalism and Communication at Tsinghua University... Sichuan International Communication Center has joined hands with all parties to launch new explorations in international communication for cultural exchange, economic and trade cooperation, city marketing, talent training, and technology empowerment.

On the same day, the "Vertical-eyed Cloud" International Communication Intelligent Technology Platform and Dongpo international communication social media matrix made their first debut and came into the spotlight.

“纵目云”由四川国际传播中心依托四川日报报业集团全媒体技术与传播认知实验室，联合知名高校、新型科研机构研发。“纵目”二字取自三星堆文物——青铜纵目面具，寓意把握融合机遇，以更加智能化、精准化、个性化的国际传播工作，讲好中国故事，传播好中国声音。未来将通过跨界合作方式共建技术平台、共研智能算法，为国际传播能力建设进行技术赋能、平台赋能、内容赋能。

The "Vertical-eyed Cloud" is developed by Sichuan International Communication Center with the support of the Omni-media Technology and Communication Cognition Laboratory of Sichuan Daily Press Group and jointly with well-known universities and new scientific research institutions. Its name, "Vertical-eyed," is taken from a cultural relic of Sanxingdui, "Vertical-eyed Bronze Mask," which means to seize the opportunity of integration, to tell stories about China well and spread China's voice well through more ingenious, accurate, and personalized international communication work. In the future, cross-border cooperation will be adopted to build technology platforms and to jointly research and develop intelligent algorithms to enable technology, media, and content for international communication capacity building.

东坡国际传播账号矩阵则以全民偶像苏东坡为符号，以油管、推特、TikTok等海外主流社交及电商平台为舞台，带动大美四川组团出海，展示真实、立体、全面的中国形象。

The Dongpo international communication social media matrix takes the "national idol," Su Dongpo, as a symbol, promoting the beauty and charm of Sichuan Province on overseas social media platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, and other mainstream social and e-commerce platforms to present a true, multi-dimensional and panoramic view of China.

来自各省区市广播电视台及数字电视传媒集团，网络视听行业各头部平台机构，国家广电智库、新闻核心期刊及全国知名高校新闻传播学院，以及省直有关部门、高校、中央在川企业、省属国有企业的代表共计120余人出席论坛活动。

A total of 120 people attended the forum, including representatives from provincial, regional, and municipal radio and television stations and digital TV media groups, leading platform organizations of the internet audio-visual industry, the National Radio and Television Think Tank, core news journals, journalism and communication schools of well-known national universities, relevant provincial departments, universities, central state-owned enterprises in Sichuan and provincial state-owned enterprises.
