SICC and Tsinghua University's School of Journalism and Communication Jointly Release ‘International Communication Set-Sail Plan

3月29日下午，“灵感中国 数字东坡”新视听论坛上，四川国际传播中心与清华大学新闻与传播学院联合发布“国际传播启航计划”，双方将聚焦推进高层次应用型专门人才培养，共建教学实践/专业实践基地。

At the ‘Inspirational China, Digital Dongpo’ New Audio & Video Forum held on the afternoon of March 29th, Sichuan International Communication Center (SICC) co-released the ‘International Communication Set-Sail Plan’ with the School of Journalism and Communication at Tsinghua University, which laid out their shared intentions to cultivate high-level application-oriented professionals as well as co-construct a teaching/professional practice base.

一次“学界+业界”的启航

A set-sail practice for ‘academia + industry’

清华大学新闻与传播学院以“人才培养、学术贡献、社会声誉、国际影响”为职责，建设国内顶尖、世界一流的新闻传播学科。 拥有一批全国著名、国际有一定影响的学术带头人和学科骨干，拥有一支优势突出、潜力巨大的一流师资队伍，拥有一批包括认知传播实验室、视听编辑室、演播室、摄影室、彭博数据终端室、未来媒体实验室(融合媒体实验室)和国际传播与全球治理全过程数据平台在内的教学实验中心。

As a professional international communication organization operated by Sichuan Daily Press Group, SICC takes "mobile communication, video communication, and social communication" as its footholds. SICC internally integrates the considerable strengths of Chuanguan News, Cover Media, Vision Sichuan, The Belt and Road Reports, Zangdiyg Media and Sichuan Culture to accelerate the construction of an international communication media matrix and service platform with Sichuan characteristics. Externally, it helps to innovate the "International Communication+" mechanism; expands cooperation for cultural communication, economic, and trade exchanges, as well as urban marketing, technology empowerment, talent training, and think tank services; sets up influential overseas channels; has a key impact on important and influential groups; and promotes China's voice to influence the world.

由四川国际传播中心主导运维的四川国际传播矩阵，拥有 1个以智能算法为核心的“纵目云”国际传播技术平台、6个国际传播网站、近百个海外社交账号、1个国际传播小程序、3份国际传播期刊、超过110人的国际传播专业人才队伍，覆盖海外用户超过1600万，海外传播量破10亿。

The Sichuan International Media Matrix, which is mainly operated and maintained by SICC, consists of the “Vertical-eyed Cloud” international communication technology platform with intelligent algorithms at its core, 6 international communication websites, nearly 100 overseas social media accounts, one international communication mini program, 3 international communication journals, and one team of over 110 professional talents. This media matrix covers over 16 million overseas users with over 1 billion views.

本次双方共建的产教融合实践基地，专业实践环节覆盖所有中国学生和国际研究生，通过定期授课、讲座或带领学生参与实践等方式，发挥“双导师制”协同育人优势。 中心将遴选国际重大议题和地方特色选题，带领学生深入国际传播一线实践锻炼。 学院将把实践考核纳入培养方案，要求专业学位研究生参与业务实践、撰写实践报告，由业界导师打分评定技能水平。

This practice base integrating industry and education co-built by both parties covers all Chinese students and international graduate students during professional practice, and gives full play to the two-instructor system’s advantages of collaborative education through regular classes, lectures, and practical teaching. SICC will select major international topics and local features, and lead students to in-depth practice of international communication. Meanwhile, the school will incorporate practical assessment into its training program, requiring graduate students to participate in business practice and practical reports writing, which are rated by industry mentors to assess students’ skills.

一次“媒体+技术”的启航

A set-sail practice for ‘media + technology’

以共建教学实践/专业实践基地为契机，29日，四川国际传播中心与清华大学新闻与传播学院联合发布“国际传播启航计划”，未来将整合优势资源，构建在研究生培养、关键技术研究、科技成果转化等方面的资源共享机制和合作平台。

Taking the co-construction of a teaching/professional practice base as a developmental movement, SICC and the School of Journalism and Communication at Tsinghua University jointly released the ‘International Communication Set-Sail Plan’ on the 29thof this month. In the future, increasingly superior resources will be integrated to build a resource sharing mechanism and cooperation platform that covers postgraduate cultivation, key technology research, and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

双方将依托高校的一流师资队伍和地方的创新实践探索，联合开展国际传播培训项目，发挥专业优势为地方和行业提供人才支撑、智力保障。 将整合学院先进的教学实验中心及四川国际传播中心参与的“全媒体技术与传播认知四川省级重点实验室”优势力量，共建技术平台，共研智能算法，全面提升国际传播效能。 还将深入开展国际传播智库合作，共同组织国际传播案例评选活动，以数据引领驱动把国际传播效果落到实处。

In addition, the two sides will jointly carry out international communication training programs relying on a competent team of university teaching staff and on exploration of local innovative practices, while making good use of their academic superiority to enhance intellectual support for both local and industrial development. The School of Journalism and Communication’s advanced Teaching and Experiment Center and the superior strength of ‘Sichuan Provincial Key Laboratory of All-Media Technology and Communication Cognition’ participated by SICC will be integrated, so as to co-build a technology platform, jointly research intelligent algorithms, and comprehensively improve the effectiveness of international communication. Furthermore, the two sides will further carry out international communication think tank cooperation, jointly organize international communication case selection activities, and implement the benefits of data-driven international communication.

作为第十届中国网络视听大会的重要组成部分，“灵感中国 数字东坡”新视听论坛由中国网络视听节目服务协会指导，四川省广播电视局、四川日报报业集团主办，四川国际传播中心承办，川观新闻、川观智库、《新闻界》协办，邀请到海内外网络视听机构代表、苏学专家大咖及国际传播领域专家学者共聚一堂，就“网络视听赋能中华文化传播”交流经验、分享洞见，以国际协同合作促进网络视听事业产业高质量发展。

As an important part of the 10th China Internet Audiovisual Convention. The forum is hosted by Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Radio and Television, Sichuan Daily Press Group, organized by Sichuan International Communication Center, and co-organized by Chuanguan News, Chuanguan Think Tank and "Press Circles", under the guidance of the China Netcasting Services Association (CNSA). Representatives of online audiovisual institutes at home and abroad, experts of Su Dongpo studies and scholars in the field of international communication will be invited to share insights on the topic of "Chinese cultural communication empowerment through internet audio-visual media." Through international collaboration, the forum aims to promote the high-quality development of the internet audio and video industry.
