Jiuding Mountain Natural Scenic Area is located in Nanxin Town, Maoxian County, Sichuan Province. Its unique geographical location and climatic conditions make it covered with snow all year round.

There are nine peaks connected to each other, and nine pools at the top of the mountain, resembling tripods for wine. That’s why it is named Jiuding Mountain.

The sea of clouds on Jiuding Mountain is one of the core landscapes of the scenic area. In the middle of June every year, when azaleas and other alpine flowers on the mountain bloom one after another, Jiu Ding Mountain will enter the best time to enjoy flowers and watch the sea of clouds.

There are also giant pandas and dove trees in the scenic area, thus the place has a high scientific research value in addition to its tourist and sightseeing value.

In summer, the campground at Jiuding Mountain is also very popular. When you look up at the starry sky from a high place, the stars seem to be within reach.
