    Lugu Lake is located at the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan Province, which is known as the "Pearl of the Plateau" for its charming natural scenery and unique humanistic style.

    Lugu Lake (Sichuan Area) is located in Yanyuan County, Liangshan Prefecture, and on the ancient Southern Silk Road and Tea Horse Road. The beautiful natural environment and peculiar ethnic customs have made this area a famous tourist attraction.

    Lugu Lake is a highland lake formed by the sink of a fault. The blue water of the lake is exceptionally beautiful, and the colors of the scenery and vegetation on the shore change with the seasons.

    Lugu Lake are divided into two parts: the "Sea of Grass" and the "Sea of Light". In the southeast side of Lugu Lake, the water depth has become shallow due to the siltation of sediment, and there are dense reeds that look like a sea of grass, so the locals call it the "Sea of Grass".

    The overall area of Lugu Lake (Sichuan area) is 314 square kilometers. Scenic tourism of the 3 boutique lines and 5 landscape areas shows the natural landscape of Lugu Lake and humanistic landscape.

    The Mosuo people living in the Sichuan area still maintain the custom of "large matrilineal family" and "walking marriage", which is called the world's only matrilineal tribe and human society "living fossil" by experts and scholars.
