Brown bears are huge, with golden yellow faces and eyes like black beans. They have long body hair, which protects it from the cold in winter.

Although brown bears are carnivores and can eat almost a dozen rabbits or mice a day, they also eat the roots and leaves of plants with gusto.

Don't be fooled by brown bears' "naive" appearance, they are actually very intelligent and reluctant to take the initiative, preferring to pick up leftovers. Brown bears will roam around looking for leftover meat eaten by other animal predators, and will never waste it.

As many animals hibernate in winter and food is scarce, brown bears hibernate in their caves, eating their stored food when they are hungry, and consuming fat to maintain their strength when there is no food.

Brown bears are national second-class protected animals and play an important role in the natural ecosystem. We should protect them and resist illegal poaching.
