In Tongzhou district, Dazhou city, there lies a lotus-shaped reservoir named lotus lake which has been regarded as the "back garden" and "natural air anion bar" for Dazhou citizens.

Built in 1970s, this large reservoir owns a capacity of 103.3 million cubic meters and covers 1400 mu. It has been constructed into a wetland park.

Walking into the park from the main entrance, you can find the Feilong Bridge across the lake accompanied with the clear water and green plants, looking picturesque. In summer, the lotuses bloom on the lake. The visitors can appreciate the moon-shaped Yingyue Bridge and the beautiful Peach Blossom Island where there are scattering peach trees.
