In Zoige wetland flower lake, a place honored “the most beautiful wetland in China”, you can enjoy the picturesque scenery: the clear water reflecting the blue sky, the bright green water plants, the wandering cows and sheep, the galloping horses, the boundless prairie…

At the average altitude of 3430 meters, with the annual average temperature of 2℃, the flower lake is located in the core area of Zoige Wetland National Natural Reserve at the junction of Nenwa, A’xiand Hongxing, 46 kilometers away from the county and 7 kilometers away from G213 national highway.

The lake covers 215 hectares and the average depth is 36 centimeters. The present storage capacity is 540000 cubic meters and the rate of flow in the lake outlet is 8.55 cubic meters per second. It runs through the Heihe River and into the Yellow River, becoming an important water conservation of the Yellow River.
