The Huanglong scenic area at an altitude of 3,000 meters above sea level is home to more than 1,000 colorful pools, known as the "Heavenly ponds on earth". Since the scattering of short wavelengths in the lake is much greater than the long wavelengths, these colorful pools show jewel-like colors.
