The reason why mock strawberries are related to snakes is that they live in moist and dark places just like the snakes. What’s more, mock strawberries grow mature when snakes finish their hibernation and go out for food. The mock strawberries are short, the fruits grow on the earth, and it seems that the snakes crawl through them. In fact, these are rumors without any scientific proof.
