Bird watching is a joy of life. Among the various birds, the coal tit with a black head, white face and grey belly is favoured by bird watchers.
They mainly inhabit the low mountains and foothills below 3,000 meters above sea level, and their body length is only about 11 cm. Although small in size, coal tits are lively and bold, not very fearful of people.
They are agile, often jumping between branches, or flying from tree to tree for short distances. It usually flies slowly, but it flies quickly after being frightened. Except for the breeding period when the coal tits are active in pairs, they tend to gather in small flocks in other seasons.
It is note that coal tits are known as beneficial agricultural birds, often flying to catch pests incrops and orchards.
