When the earth has not yet revitalized, there isa species of plantquietly blooming onthe hillsides, forest edges, and stream banks. They are Primula sonchifolia, known as the messengers of spring.

Their flowers are mostly lilac, with five petals, like a small umbrella. They grow in moist conditions and well-drained,humus-rich soils. They are usually distributed in western Sichuan, northwestern Yunnan and the southeastern part of Tibet adjacent to Yunnan.

They grow in the alpine grasslands and forest edges at an altitude of 3000-4600 meters and arenot resistant to high temperature and intense direct sunlight. Perhaps it is because of these characteristics that they represent the first love, hope and no regret.
