Every July,Liliumduchartrei is in full bloom. If you stray into a Liliumduchartreivalley, you will fall in love with this beautiful and shy flower.

Different from the Liliumcasa blanca, Lilium duchartrei grows with its head down. It always looks shy with its head bowed. Its petals are rolled back into a circle in an extremely exaggerated way, and the stamens stretch straight down. The whole flower looks like a cute little lantern with tassels. Its fragrance is not as strong and dull as the Lilium casa blanca, but more refreshing and pleasant.

The flowering period of Lilium duchartrei is about 2 months, and then it will slowly enter the dormant period. The branches and leaves of the upper part gradually wither and fall, which looks like it is withered, but the bulbs in the lower part are still intact. After a winter of hibernation, it will wake up again in the spring and bloom in another summer.
