    Speaking of Ginkgo biloba, Chengdunese are all familiar with it. Every late autumn, the city will be covered with golden ginkgo leaves. Jinxiu Road, Baiguolin, Baihuatan Park, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China...... are all perfect places for ginkgo viewing.

    Why is it so popular through out the years?

    It is not only beautiful, but full of treasures. Ginkgo biloba isanancient tree, known as the "living fossil" among plants. It appeared even before the dinosaurs, with alifespan of overthousands of years. The oldest ginkgo treeis 1800 years, located in Tianshi Cave, Mount Qingcheng, Chengdu.
