四川羚牛：能力越强，责任越大

它长相奇特，庞大隆起的背脊像棕熊，两条倾斜的后腿像非洲的斑鬣狗，四肢短粗像家牛，绷紧的脸部像驼鹿，宽而扁的尾像山羊，两只角长得像角马，因此被称作“六不像”。它就是国家一级重点保护野生动物：四川羚牛。

With a bulging back like a brown bear, two inclined legs like an African spotted hyena, short and thick limbs like a cow, a taut face like a moose, a wide and flat tail like a goat, and two horns like a wildebeest, Sichuan takin, a national first-class protected animal in China, doesn't look like any other animals on this planet.

在大熊猫国家公园，常常能在红外相机中见到它们的身影，总是一副又萌又猛的形象。成年四川羚牛头体长1.7-2.2米左右，体重250-350千克左右，全身毛色为淡金黄色或棕褐色。颌下和颈下长着胡须状的长垂毛。

In the Giant Panda National Park, they are often seen in infrared cameras, looking fiercebut somehow cuteat the same time. The adult Sichuan takin has a head length of about 1.7-2.2 meters and a weight of about 250-350 kg. The body color is light goldenor tan, with beard-like drooping hairs growingunder the jaws and the neck.

四川羚牛集群性、纪律性强，常常几十只上百只群体出动。牛群移动时，由强壮个体领头和压阵，其他成员在中间一个挨着一个行走。牛群平时活动时，一般有一只强壮者屹立高处瞭望放哨，如遇敌害，头牛会率领牛群冲向前去，势不可挡，直至脱离险境。

Sichuan takins are highly organized and disciplinedthat movein groups of dozens or hundreds. Strong ones usually leadthe way, whilethe othersline upwalking one by one in the middle. When moving, the strongestone usually standsup high on the lookout. When attacked by enemies, it willlead the herd to rush forward, unstoppableall the wayuntil they are out of danger.
