Taikoo Li Chengdu Launches "EQUILIBRIUM" Art Exhibition  

On Oct 16,2023, Taikoo Li Chengdu's large-scale public Art Exhibition "EQUILIBRIUM" made its debut at Temple Plaza and will last till Nov. 5. Focusing on Chengdu's balanced and relaxed urban temperament, the newly unveiled multimedia interactive installation features a combination of fast and slow, motion and static, with a stable framework and swaying swings, fixed ambient lighting and intertwining beams of lights, and a soundscape created by a sound system, which will attract the public and tourists to step inside and explore the beauty of balance and harmony, and experience the lifestyle of "Let’s Play".

Why “EQUILIBRIUM”?

The large-scale public art exhibition "EQUILIBRIUM" is jointly created by Taikoo Li Chengdu and French multimedia experimental artist Penelope Guerineau, with a grand woven dome and interspersed lines showing the architectural aesthetics of "equilibrium", and several swaying swings and intertwining lights and shadows reflecting the spirit of nature. Visitors will step into this expansive and airy space, play on theses wings and slowly experience the feeling of relaxation and harmony. From this, the public Art Exhibition was named"EQUILIBRIUM".

What experience?

At nightfall, the installation will be transformed into an architecture of light, and as you enter, you will be enveloped by the interweaving of lightsand shadows, feeling a different visual experience. At the same time, the installation is equipped with an immersive panoramic sound system, which will play a soundscape consisting of five musical chapters, namely "Levitation", "Echo", "Wave", "Universe" and "Tomorrow", presenting an immersive audio-visual feast to the public.
