The "When East Meets West" Couture Garden Show Held

On May 9th, 2023, the "When East Meets West" Couture Garden Show was successfully held at the West China Couture Fashion Center in the Jinniu District of Chengdu during the West China Couture Week. The "West China Couture Week" is a large-scale IP project dedicated to incubating and promoting advanced customization in western China, following in the footsteps of the Paris Haute Couture Week and the Shanghai Haute Couture Week, making it the first of its kind in western China.

2023年5月9日 中国西部高级定制周“当东方遇见西方”高定花园大秀在成都市金牛区中国西部高级定制中心成功举办。“中国西部高级定制周”是全球继巴黎高定周、上海高定周后中国西部第一个高级定制孵化与推动的大型IP项目。

Blending the allure of ethnic aesthetics with the vibrancy of modern fashion trends, we are showcasing the beauty of couture. Over the past six months,more than 20 events have been held as part of the couture week, including the "China Couture Industry Development Summit", " Couture Fashion Show", "Immersive Showroom Exhibitions", and a series of high-end themed salons focusing on "Integration of Western Ethnic Culture with High-quality Customized Lifestyles". Using Chinese ethnic culture as the underlying tone, we incorporate ethnic culture, communicate the concept of couture, and present its beauty.

用民族美韵碰撞时尚潮流，展现高定之美。本次高定周在过去的半年时间里开展了包括“中国高级定制产业发展峰会”、“高级定制大秀”、“showroom空间沉浸式展览”、“民族特色专题活动，融合西部民族文化以高品质定制生活方式为主旨的高端主题沙龙”系列20余场活动。以中国民族文化为基调，融入民族文化，传递高定理念，展现高定之美，通过系列创新，向现代人展现民族文化不一样的东方美韵。

The forum on local culture and international fashion industry is one of the key sessions during the couture week. Guided by the Chengdu Overseas Chinese Federation and co-hosted by the Jinniu District Overseas Chinese Federation, the forum invites returned overseas Chinese fashion industry experts, renowned Chinese designers, and representatives of the new overseas Chinese in the fashion industry to discuss the new directions for the fashion industry in the west. The forum aims to show the spirit and essence of Chinese civilization, accelerate the construction of international communication capabilities, improve international communication effectiveness, deepen cultural exchanges, and promote traditional aesthetics to the world stage.

在地文化与时尚产业国际化论坛是本次高定周期间重要环节之一。该论坛由成都市侨联指导，金牛区侨联联合承办，邀请归侨知名时尚行业专家、中国知名设计师、时尚行业新侨代表等，共商西部时尚产业新方向。论坛旨在提炼展示中华文明的精神标识和文化精髓，加快国际传播能力建设，全面提升国际传播效能，深化文明交流互鉴，推动本土传统美学更好走向世界。

With clothing as the medium, we attempt to promote brand characteristics and ethnic charm, interpreting different cultures and fashions. The "East Meets West Couture" show partners with major brands located in the couture center, presenting a romantic show where Western fashion culture meets the brilliant Chinese civilization. Designers showcase modern brand design concepts and styles, accelerating the rise of the local fashion industry, and helping ethnic culture gain global recognition.

As the "East Meets West" couture garden show ended, this West China Couture Week came to a successful conclusion. We will uphold the concept of "Promoting and Spreading Traditional Chinese Costume Culture", grasp the theme of "Ethnic Charm, International Trend", inherit from retrospection, explore from mutual learning, review the beauty of the world with cultural confidence, and allow the flower of civilization to bloom in the new era. With an international perspective, local sentiments, and the concept of the people, we explore and enrich the wonderful life model, promote the high-quality development of the digital fashion industry in western China, extol the beauty of couture, promote ethnic culture, and send a message of China's fashion charm to the world.
