The West China Couture Week Opened  

The West China Couture Week kicked off in Chengdu, Sichuan Province on Jan, 8, 2023.

The West China Couture Week is the third IP project after Paris Fashion Week, Shanghai New Customization Week in the world, as well as the first couture promoting platform in west China. Upholding the idea of "leading the up-class lifestyle, promoting China's couture, increasing Chinese brands' influence", the West China Couture Week attempts to introduce the local culture to the world.

On the opening day, two domestic creative designer brands, Zu Yi and Seraph Sin, presented a fashion show on the theme of "East meets West".

In addition, the winning entries of the NEW UP Chinese Ethnic Culture Fashion Competition were presented on the catwalk for the annual show.

Two renowned domestic designer brands, Kongshan Suyue and Show Jiang, took turns to showcase their new designs at the brand launch show.

The brand's heritage is based on the traditional Chinese technique of dyeing plants to showcase the beauty of thousands of years of Chinese clothing culture.

Show Jiang

As a well-known domestic couture brand, the Show Jiang takes Shu embroidery and Shu brocade as its eternal design theme, bringing China’s traditional culture to the world in the form of cloth.

The Western China Couture Week series will run until March this year, with more events to follow.
