11月3日上午10点40分左右，四川南充市嘉陵区吉安镇正安街，一名2岁幼童爬出阳台，从二楼雨棚上坠落，幸运的是被二十多名群众用棉被稳稳接住。

At about 10:40 a.m. on Nov. 3, a two-year-old toddler climbed out of the balcony and fell from the second floor canopy in Zheng'an Street,Ji'an Town, Jialing District, Nanchong City. Fortunately, the child was steadily caught by more than 20 people with quilts.

据目击者程女士讲，“孩子当时从自家防护栏上安装空调的小门爬出，摔在二楼雨棚上”，发出“砰”的一声，附近居民听到了声音，这才发现了孩子。

According to eyewitness Ms. Cheng, "The child was climbing out of the small door on the protective fence where the air conditioner was installed, and then fell on the awning on the second floor".When the neighbors heard the "bang", they found the child.

“我们当时就在楼下，听到响声抬头就看到小孩摔在雨棚上了。”在现场参与了救援的杨先生告诉记者，发现孩子的居民马上围到楼下，准备接住孩子，好多居住在附近的居民也立即跑回家拿棉被，“现场起码有二三十人跑过来帮忙。”

"We were downstairswhen weheard a loud noise and looked up to see the child fell on the awning." Mr. Yang, who participated in the rescue at the scene, told reporters that the residents who found the child immediately gathered downstairs, ready to catch the child. Many residents living in the neighborhood also immediately ran home to get quilts. "At least 20 to 30 people ran over to help."

“从孩子困在雨棚上到掉下来，不超过十分钟。”杨先生说，最后大家齐心协力，把几床棉被撑开，及时接住了孩子。

"It was less than ten minutes from the child being trapped on the awning to fallingdown." said Mr. Yang.Finally,everyone worked together to hold up several quilts and catch the child in time.

据了解，目前该幼童身体状况良好。

It is reported that the toddler is currently in good health.

1.非逃生用的窗户和阳台要装上防盗网，如果是为了美观，可以安装隐形防护网;
