盛夏之中，七夕节如约而至。

七夕，一个极具浪漫色彩的传统节日。

Today is the Qixi Festival in China,

a very romantic traditional festival.

月下乞巧、投针验巧、喜蛛应巧……倘若穿越到数百年前，七夕之夜，闺阁中的少女们在月光下摆好香案、花果，围在桌前点燃香蜡，默默许下自己埋藏心田里、想要向织女诉说的祝辞;亦或是在装满清水的碗中，小心翼翼地投下一根银针。

In ancient time, the girls would celebrate it by placing the flowers and fruits and lighting the censers to wish to heaven in the moonlight, or putting a needle into a bowl filled with clean water to test their weaving skill.

在如今人们的印象中，这个节日与爱情有关，寄托着人们对于美好情感的向往。

Today the festival is widely regarded as China's Valentine's Day, and holds the desire for good love.

每年七夕，来自比利时的汤姆都会为他的四川老婆陈丽制造不同的惊喜。今年，他准备了一份特别的礼物——3种川味巧克力：辣椒花椒坚果巧克力、四川白酒夹心巧克力、麻辣夹心巧克力。“我知道Lily(陈丽)很喜欢四川本地的麻辣美食。”汤姆说。

Every Qixi Festival, Tom from Belgium does something special for Lily (Chen Li), his Sichuan wife. This year, he has prepared a special gift: three kinds of Sichuan-flavor chocolate: chocolate with chili, Sichuan peppercorn and nuts; chocolate filled with Sichuan baijiu; and chocolate filled with chili and peppercorn powder. "I know Lily likes Sichuan spicy food", said Tom.

比利时的巧克力，四川特色的汉源花椒、二荆条、白酒，看上去风格迥异的美食，在汤姆手上巧妙地融合在一起，就像汤姆和陈丽爱情开始的样子。汤姆说：“我们来自不同国家，没有相似的成长经历，也没有相同的文化背景，但这并不耽误我发现你的美丽，发现我们之间的可能。于是就有了这间以我们俩名字命名的店——Choclito。”

The widely different flavors of Belgian chocolate, Sichuan pepper and baijiu are integrated perfectly by Tom, just like Tom and Lily. Tom said, "we're from different countries. We don't share the same life experiences or cultural background which didn't stop me from realizing your beauty and our possibility. There came ‘Choclito' which wasthe combination of our names."

四川白酒夹心巧克力 & 麻辣夹心巧克力

一天，汤姆和陈丽走在街上，看到有一个小男孩在卖花，“Tom给了生病的小男孩100元，并且只要两朵花，”陈丽说，“他只是看见那个男孩在咳嗽。”这就是陈丽爱上汤姆的理由。对她来说，爱情和生活都很简单，不需要冒险的故事。“生活与许多小确幸有关，而无关那些复杂的事情。”

Once Tom and Lily saw a boy selling flowers on the street. "He gave that little sick boy 100 yuan and asked that little boy just to give me two flowers,"Lily said, "he just saw that little boy was coughing."That's why she fell in love with Tom. For Lily, love and life are both simple and she doesn't need things like adventures. "Life is about small things, not about big things."

“她很甜美，很漂亮，第一次见到她时，我很紧张，”对于汤姆而言，爱情是一次巧遇。在婚姻生活中，他认为自己像是一颗未经雕琢的石头，“她理解我，帮助我，使我成为更闪耀的人。”

"She's sweet, lovely and beautiful. I had butterflies in my stomach when I saw her."Love was a coincidence for Tom. He thinks he is like a rough diamond in the marriage. "And she knows me and she makes me more shiny."
