7月21日，一张张《醒·狮》海报刷屏了四川人的朋友圈，广州歌舞剧院当晚在四川大剧院无观众演出，为四川带来了一场特殊的云上演出，超320万人次观众观看，多个话题登上全国热搜。

“这次直播，是从0到1的一个抉择。”四川大剧院总经理刘传介绍，疫情发生时《醒·狮》剧组已经来到成都，将近五天连夜搭台排练，为了确保每位观众的安全，又要兼顾大家对艺术的支持和追求，于是决定采取1元线上门票的方式演出。

面对蓉城观众的热情，广州歌舞剧院院长、舞剧《醒·狮》艺术总监、总导演史前进表示：“一天破一百万，我们非常感谢四川观众，也非常感动。”面对突如其来的疫情，史前进表示，不想让观众失望，当晚紧急开会，最后决定以这种特殊的方式线上演出。
