——这一幕让无数网友泪目

In Liangshan, Sichuan Province,

a three-year old girl in Yi costume

recognized her father

–– the stone statue in front of her.

She fondled the statues, with tears in her eyes, reluctant to go.

This picture touched so many people.

石像主人公名叫张晓林，从2014年开始，他在大凉山连续6年从事公益活动，2020年初，他因病离世。一年多后，父女俩以这种方式在凉山“团聚”。

The statue is Zhang Xiaolin. He had been dedicated to public benefit activities in Liangshan Mountains for six years since 2014. he passed away for illness at the beginning of the year 2020. A year later, he and his daughter "met"in Liangshan in this way.

外形彪悍、黑皮肤、大嗓门的张晓林，在千里之外的凉山找到了他真正“有意思的生活”。

Sturdy, dark-skinned and leather-lunged Zhao Xiaolin realized his "meaningful life"in Liangshan Mountain, thousand miles away from his home.

2014年，张晓林驾车出游，他把在云南给孩子们送衣食的经历，拍照分享到网上。“没想到这么多朋友，关注这些山里娃!”不少朋友寄来衣服、被子和书包，纷纷留言“请转交给山里的孩子”。张晓林下定决心，一定要为大山里的孩子们做些什么。

In 2014, Zhang Xiaolin had a trip by driving. He shared his experience of donating clothes and food to kids in Yunnan on social media. "I didn't expect that so many people were concerned about these kids in the mountains."Many people send to him clothes, quilts and schoolbags with the note "please give them to the kids in the mountains."Zhao Xiaolin made up his mind to do something for these kids.

张晓林选择了四川大凉山作为自己扎根的地方。此后，他当起了穿梭于深山老林的“快递员”，一次次将爱心物资送到孩子手中。在一些交通不便的地方，他或骑驴骑马，或徒步行进，还坐着“油桶”心惊胆战地过河，翻山越岭抵达目的地小学。

He decided to take root in Liangshan Mountains. He became a "deliveryman"in the deep mountains and forests, sending donations to the kids. In places with poor transportation, he had to ride a donkey or a horse, walk, or even cross the river by an oil bucket, to the destinations.

之后，张晓林萌生了要为当地建桥、修路、建学校的念头。

Later, he came up with the idea of building bridges, roads, and schools here.

2014年7月18日，木里县俄亚乡哈地村的哈地桥建成。当地300多名村民不再依靠铁索过河，村民在桥头激动地对张晓林说：“你，就是我们哈地村的大恩人。”

On July 18th, 2014, the Hadi Bridge in the Hadi village, Eya Town, Muli County was built. Therefore, over 300 villagers didn't have to cross the river by iron chains. The villagers, standing on the bridgehead, said to Zhang Xiaolin excitedly, "You're the saver of our Hadi village."

此外，张晓林还通过个人力量募资给大凉山修建希望小学。他往返于村子和当地教育主管部门，募资、商讨、工程造价、图纸设计等，他事事包揽。通过他募捐投建的小学，一座座从大山里冒出来。

What's more, Zhao Xiaolin raised funds by himself for the construction of Hope Primary School in the Liangshan Mountains. He travelled between the village and the local education authorities. He finished fundraising, discussion, project cost, layout design, etc. The primary schools under his patronage were built one by one in the mountains.

张晓林总说，自己一开始做这些是“被逼”的，因为“在我的身后，还有一群支撑着我走下去的好心人。我要告诉山里的孩子们，在大山之外，有好多热心的叔叔阿姨在关注他们的成长。”

Zhao Xiaolin said, he was "forced"to do so, since "there're a number of good souls supporting me. I want to let the kids know that there're many kind people outside the mountains concerned about their lives."

2019年，张晓林被确诊肝癌。第二年年初，张晓林离开了他所热爱的世界，年仅39岁。去世的前一天，他还在为兴建第39所学校募集善款，由他捐建的希望小学数字，也停留在39座。

In 2019, he was diagnosed with liver cancer. At the beginning of the next year, he passed away, aged 39. A day before, he was raising the funds for the 39th primary school.

曾经是游戏厅老板

“坏叔叔”形象的张晓林

成为了无数孩子感激的张叔叔

成为女儿的骄傲

如今，在哈地桥边

有一块村民立起的碑

“吃水不忘挖井人

过桥不忘张晓林”

Zhang Xiaolin, who used to be a game center owner and a "bad uncle",

became the kids' beloved "Uncle Zhang",

and his daughter's glory.
