On 28th September, a JD5167 "Sanxingdui" themed passenger plane of Capital Airlines loaded with elements of Sanxingdui successfully made its maiden voyage. This themed aircraft "moved" the Sanxingdui Museum to the sky. The aircraft departed from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport at 08:40 a.m. and arrived at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport at 11:11 a.m..

 

 

It is learnt that the "Sanxingdui" themedpassenger planeis jointly created by Capital Airlines and Sanxingdui Museum, with A321 aircraft as the carrier, and Sanxingdui cultural elements as the main visual image, immersive display of theSanxingduiculture .

Bird Shaped Bronze Bell, Bird-shaped Gold Ornament...Bird-themed artefacts cover almost all types of artefacts from Sanxingdui, including pottery, bronze, gold and jade.

Thousands of years ago, the ancient Shu people's yearning for flying in the sky was carried on these artefacts. Nowadays, the "Sanxingdui" themed passenger planecontinues the flying dream of the ancient Shu people.

The design concept of "Sanxingdui" themed passenger planeoriginates from the desire for the sky in Sanxingdui culture. The fuselage is painted in bronze and yellow, inspired by the images of Bronze Mask, Dragon and Sun Birdson theBronzeSacredTreeof the Sanxingdui cultural relics.The luggage rack and seats are also decorated with Sun Birds, Bronze Beasts and other elements of Sanxingdui cultural relics. The lecturing team of Sanxingdui Museum will also board the "Sanxingdui" on a regular basis to talk about the history of Ancient Shu and the culture of Sanxingdui for the tourists, presenting an aerial museum gallery that soars in the sky.
