8月31日，白俄罗斯戈梅利州执行委员会主席克鲁普科率代表团访川的第二天，先后参观了成都高新区和成都大学后，他对四川以及成都印象深刻，“四川发展前景广阔，这是一个重视科技创新、人才培养的地方，同时成都市公园林立、绿意盎然，令人印象深刻。”这是克鲁普科主席第一次来到四川，也是第一次来到中国。

August 31, 2023, it the second day of the visit to Sichuan by the delegation led by Ivan Krupko, Chairman of the Gomel oblast executive committee, Republic of Belarus. After visiting Chengdu High-tech Zone and Chengdu University, he was deeply impressed by Sichuan, saying, "Sichuan has broad development prospects. This is a place that values technological innovation and talent development. Moreover, the abundance of parks and greenery here is truly impressive." This is Krupko's first visit to Sichuan and his first visit to China.

位于白俄罗斯东南部的戈梅利州与四川交情由来已久。2015年，四川省与戈梅利州签署了两省州建立友好合作关系协议。2021年，双方共同举办了建立友好省州关系协议线上签署仪式，将两省州关系提升到新的阶段。用克鲁普科主席的话来说，“我们是‘铁哥们’！”

The friendship between Gomel Oblast, located in the southeast of Belarus, and Sichuan has a long history. In 2015, Sichuan Province and Gomel Oblast signed an agreement to establish a friendly cooperation relationship between the two places. In 2021, they jointly held an online signing ceremony to elevate their provincial-level friendship to a new stage. In Krupko's words, "We are 'iron brothers'!"

此次率戈梅利州代表团访川，克鲁普科主席期待进一步深化两地的交流合作。“我们希望今后在以下两个方面加强合作：一是希望在四川建立戈梅利州的商品中心，向四川展示我们当地的特色产品；二是期待更多中国企业到戈梅利州投资农业。”他表示，今后两地将重点加强经贸合作，戈梅利州将继续加大乳制品、肉制品、矿产等产品出口四川，同时也将继续从中国进口技术设备等产品。

During this visit, Krupko looks forward to further deepening exchanges and cooperation between the two regions. "We hope to establish a Gomel commodity center in Sichuan to showcase our local specialty products to Sichuan. We also hope to attract more Chinese companies to invest in agriculture in Gomel Oblast," he stated. In the future, the two regions will focus on economic and trade cooperation. Gomel Oblast will continue to increase exports of dairy products, meat products, minerals, and other goods to Sichuan while also importing technical equipment and other products from China.

“我们认识到，要提升贸易额，必须要加强中欧班列框架内的合作，”谈及四川在经贸合作中的优势，克鲁普科主席特别强调了中欧班列的作用。2017年，成都至明斯克的中欧班列首发，为贸易往来搭建起物流大通道。2022年，四川省与白俄罗斯进出口货物贸易总额达到27.49亿元人民币。克鲁普科主席也提出了自己的一个小愿望：期望开通从成都直达戈梅利的班列，“现在中国其它城市已有直达戈梅利州的班列，我们也积攒了一些经验，希望有一天能直通成都。”

"We recognize that to increase trade volume, it is necessary to strengthen cooperation within the framework of the China-Europe Railway Express," Krupko emphasized the role of the China-Europe Railway Express when discussing Sichuan's advantages in economic and trade cooperation. In 2017, the first China-Europe Railway Express from Chengdu to Minsk was launched, providing a logistics corridor for trade. In 2022, the total import and export trade volume between Sichuan Province and Belarus reached 2.749 billion RMB. Krupko also expressed a small wish of his own: to establish a direct rail link from Chengdu to Gomel.

企业间合作是两地经贸合作中的重要力量。此行，克鲁普科主席还带来了戈梅利州当地的龙头企业代表，以寻求川戈双方更多合作共同点。他透露，戈梅利州当地企业将参与9月9日在成都举行的2023全国金秋购物节暨第二届中国（四川）国际熊猫消费节，展示戈梅利州特色产品、商品，此外。戈梅利州将于9月21日至22日在当地举办经贸论坛，目前已邀请四川企业代表出席。

Inter-enterprise cooperation is a significant force in the economic and trade cooperation between the two regions. During this visit, Krupko also brought representatives of leading local enterprises from Gomel Oblast to seek more areas of cooperation with Sichuan. He revealed that local companies from Gomel will participate in the Chengdu Panda Consumption Festival on September 9th to showcase Gomel's specialty products. Additionally, Gomel Region will host an economic and trade forum from September 21st to 22nd, inviting representatives of Sichuan enterprises to attend.

除了经贸合作，科技、教育、人文合作也是克鲁普科主席关注的重点，“科技合作是经贸合作的一大基础。”他期待川戈两地加强科技、学前教育、学校教育、汉语教育等方面的合作交流，“语言是国际交往中重要的一环，我们希望戈梅利州将来有更多精通汉语的人才。”

Apart from economic and trade cooperation, science, technology, education, and cultural exchanges are also areas of focus. Krupko said, "Technological cooperation is a significant foundation for economic and trade cooperation." He hope there will be more exchanges between the two regions in technology, early childhood education, school education and Chinese language education, saying, "Language is an important part of international communication, and we hope that Gomel will have more talents proficient in Chinese in the future."
