“跑马溜溜的山上，一朵溜溜的云哟……”1970年代，美国“旅行者二号”宇宙飞船在广袤无垠的太空中播放人类的歌声，其中一首，就是来自中国的《康定情歌》。“康定”两个字，成为了一代人对“情歌”的记忆，全世界的人都想知道，康定在哪儿？

‘Above the Mount of Pao Ma, there is a white cloud...’In 1970s, the American spaceship ‘Voyager 2’played man-made tunes in the boundlessness of outerspace, one of which was from China’s Kangding Love Song. Following on from that, the two characters ‘Kangding’has become intertwined inmemory withthevery idea of a‘Love Song’for a generation, and people around the world wondered where Kangding is.

Luke, from the United States, is a curve wrecker who graduated from Princeton University and can speak Chinese fluently. As he said, “Ifirstheard Kangding Love Song whenI was a child. At that time, I didn’t know the specific location of Kangding. It wasn’tuntil I came to Sichuan Province, China,after my college graduation that Irealizedthat the Kangding mentioned by this song is a small plateau county with abundanthistoryand a diverse range of cultures.”

这一次，卢克如愿来到四川康定。当他像本地人那样漫步在康定的大街小巷，喝着自己从来没有喝过的酥油咖啡，登上跑马山、遥望蓝天雪山、做客藏民家，《康定情歌》又会带给他怎样的感受？

This time, Lukewas able to cometo Kangding in Sichuan as he had long wished. When he strolled through thestreets and alleys of Kangding like the natives, enjoyed the butter coffee that he hadn’t ever triedbefore, climbed the Mount of Pao Ma, overlooked the blue sky and snow-capped mountains, and visited the homesof local Tibetans, how would he feel about Kangding Long Song?

《康定情歌》于1948年录制发行，1970年代蜚声海外，入选美国航空航天局“世界最具代表性的十首歌曲”，90年代后期，被联合国教科文组织列为“全球最具影响力”十首民歌之一。

Kangding Love Song,recorded and released in 1948, became famous overseas in 1970s, and was selected as one of the ‘World’s Ten of the Most Representative Songs’by NASA. In the late 1990s, it was listed as one of the ten ‘Most InfluentialFolk Songs in the World’by the United Nations Educational, Scientific,and Cultural Organization.
