最近，旅居韩国的大熊猫时隔三年再度传来喜讯。

7月7日，大熊猫“华妮”(韩国名：爱宝)顺利生下双胞胎宝宝。

这是今年在海外出生的首对大熊猫幼崽，也是在韩国诞生的首对大熊猫双胞胎。

On July 7, Hua Ni (Korean name Ai Bao), a female panda from the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda, who currently lives at the Everland Resort in South Korea, gave birth to a pair of female cubs, the first pair born overseas this year, and the first giant panda twins to be born in South Korea.

2月中旬，大熊猫“华妮”出现发情迹象。中韩专家团队立即搭建了线上技术指导交流平台，在熊猫中心专家的悉心指导下，“华妮”与“园欣”(韩国呼名：乐宝)顺利完成自然交配。

In mid-February, Hua Ni showed signs of entering heat. Chinese and Korean experts immediately set up an online technical guidance team, and under the careful guidance of the Chinese panda center experts, Hua Ni and her mate, Yuan Xin (Korean name Le Bao) were able to mate naturally.

“华妮”于6月初出现妊娠反应。为保障“华妮”顺利生产，熊猫中心随即派专家赴韩，对“华妮”生产前后饲养管理及育幼等方面工作进行现场指导。

Hua Ni was found to be pregnant in early June. In order to ensure a smooth birth, the Chinese giant panda center immediately sent experts to South Korea to provide on-site guidance on managing the feeding and care of Hua Ni and her cubs, before and after birth.

在双方专家的共同努力和热切的期盼中，韩国时间7月7日凌晨4时52分和6时39分，“华妮”成功诞下一对双胞胎幼崽，老大体重180克，老二体重140克。

As a result of the joint efforts and the eager expectations of both sides, Hua Ni gave birth to twins, the first at 4:52 am and the second at 6:39 am on Friday, Korean time. The eldest weighed in at 180 grams and the second at 140 grams.

目前，“华妮”及幼崽情况均稳定，中韩双方专家团队紧密合作，根据母幼实际情况，实时调整产后饲养管理方案，持续监测幼崽生长发育情况，做好人工育幼，为这一对熊猫宝宝的健康成长提供最好保障。

At present, Hua Ni and her cubs are stable. Expert teams from China and South Korea have worked closely to adjust the postpartum feeding and management plan in real time, in response to the actual condition of both mother and cubs, continuously monitoring the development of the cubs to guarantee their healthy growth.

2016年3月，中国野生动物保护协会与韩国爱宝乐园正式启动大熊猫保护合作研究项目。

来自中国大熊猫保护研究中心两岁半的雌性大熊猫“华妮”和三岁半的雄性大熊猫“园欣”从四川赴韩国爱宝乐园，开启为期15年的大熊猫科研合作之旅。

In March 2016, the China Wildlife Conservation Association and South Korea’s Everland Resort officially launched a giant panda conservation and research cooperation project. The China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda sent two-and-a-half year old female Hua Ni and three-and-a-half year old male Yuan Xin from Sichuan province to Everland, starting the planned 15-year research project.

位于四川省的中国大熊猫保护研究中心是“华妮”“园欣”的老家。中心设有卧龙神树坪、卧龙核桃坪、都江堰、雅安4个基地，多年来承担着大熊猫野外生态与种群动态研究，大熊猫人工饲养、繁育、遗传、疾病防控以及相关技术标准和规程的研究与开发，大熊猫国内外合作交流等工作。

The China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda，where Hua Ni and Yuan Xin were born, is located in Sichuan province. It owns four bases: Shenshuping base, Hetaoping base, Dujiangyan base, and Ya’an base. It has been dedicated to the study on wild giant pandas, theartificial feeding, breeding, heredity, illness prevention, etc., as well as the international cooperation and exchanges of giant pandas.

2020年，“华妮”在韩国通过自然繁育生下雌性大熊猫“福宝”。

韩国熊猫饲养员姜哲远和宋永宽，对熊猫的照顾无微不至，被网友们亲切地称作“福宝爷爷”。

提到双胞胎，姜爷爷得意地说：“生‘福宝’的时候是一只，现在幸福感是双倍的！非常感激！我们特别从中国大熊猫保护研究中心请来专家帮忙，这是一起努力的成果。”

此前，得知“华妮”即将迎来新宝宝，网友开启“起名模式”。

如今，“华妮”诞下双胞胎，网友纷纷表示，“帮‘华妮’新宝宝起的名字不够用了”。
