With a history of thousands of years of liquor making, Sichuan has a rich and profound liquor culture. On June 2, the organizing committee of the 2023 Sichuan International Alcoholic Beverages Exposition (hereinafter referred to as "Alcoholic Beverages Expo") held a press conference in Chengdu. The 2023 Sichuan International Alcoholic Beverages Exposition will be held in Wende International Convention and Exhibition Center in Deyang City, SW China’s Sichuan Province, for three days from June 18 to 20, 2023.

As an important part of the Chinese baijiu's "Golden Triangle" strategy, Deyang is also one of the core production areas of Sichuan liquor. With the theme of "Intoxicated Fragrance, Renowned Deyang." this expo has set up more than 20 activities, such as exhibition, new product release, industry dialogue, national evaluation conference, skill training, standard research, quality evaluation, online exhibition, etc., in order to show the advantages and unique charm of the core production area of nongxiang-flavor liquor in China, increase the influence of Mianzhu, Deyang, as the "world characteristic liquor producing area," and enhance the reputation of "China's famous liquor City."

The expo has two major venues, the Famous Liquor Pavilion and the International Liquor Pavilion, covering an area of 20,000 square meters, attracting political and business representatives from more than 60 countries (regions), nearly 100 domestic and foreign alcoholic drinks companies, hundreds of industry elites and industry celebrities to attend the event, gathering the world's famous liquor and over 1,000 alcoholic drink brands to participate in the exhibition. There are seven exhibition areas, including international famous liquor, Deyang Mianzhu, Chengdu Metropolitan Area, yellow wine, wine, equipment and cultural and tourism characteristics.

Organizers of this expo will also hold the first Chinese liquor industry "Huaxia aesthetics" summit, inviting cultural celebrities to the vast number of consumers to show the profound culture of Chinese liquor, the Chinese culture aesthetics and Chinese liquor aesthetics.
