On the evening of June 1st, with the theme of "Zigong Lanterns: DreamsCome True," the launch ceremony of the first Zigong Children's Creative Lanterns International Innovation Design project kicked off in Zigong Colored Lantern Park.

Zigong Lantern Creative Competition has been successfully held for three yearsso far, and has become a highly praised sub-brand of Zigong Lantern Festivalwith high attentionand wide participation. In order to give full play to the feature of "Everything can be a lantern" of the Zigong International Lantern Festivaland further expand the influence of the 30th Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival, the organizing committee of International Dinosaur Lantern Festivalheld the first Zigong Children's Creative Lanterns International Innovation Design project to invite children from all over the worldto collectcreative paintings for the 30th Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival"Creative Art Museum" section.

At the launch ceremony, the children took the paintbrushesand painted their hopes and wishes for the future. In front of the lantern groupsof the Creation Art Museum of the 29th Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival, these"little painters" shared the creation process of their paintings and invited children from all over the world to participate in this event.

This year's Zigong Children's Creative Lanterns International Innovation Design projecthasa theme, "The Spirit of the Dragons." 2024 is the Year of the Dragon of the traditional Chinese zodiac. Children can take the "dragons" of the Chinese zodiac and therelated subjectsas the theme, to show the spiritual connotation and scenes related to the "dragons" of the Chinese zodiac, and to show the magic world of the "dragons." At the same time, Zigong enjoys the reputation of the "Hometown of Dinosaurs."The works can also use the dinosaurs and related subjects to show the wonderful ideas brought by the dinosaurs.
