set the Consulate General in Chengdu.

近日，记者从四川省外事办公室获悉，我国政府与阿根廷共和国就阿根廷在成都设立领事机构达成协议，同意阿根廷在成都设立总领事馆，领区范围为四川省、重庆市、贵州省、云南省和陕西省。这是阿根廷继上海、广州之后在中国内地设立的第三家总领事馆。

 

The Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Argentina recently reached an agreement on the establishment ofthe Consulate General of Argentina in Chengdu.The Consular District consists of 5 provinces, including Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan and Shaanxi. This is the third Consulate General of Argentina in China's mainland.

 

阿根廷是二十国集团成员国和南方共同市场成员国，属发展中大国和重要新兴市场国家，是四川省在拉美地区重要的经贸合作伙伴。在中阿建交50周年之际，阿根廷在成都设立总领事馆，将极大地促进四川与阿根廷及拉美国家在贸易投资、人文交流、国际友城等方面合作。

 

Argentina, as a member of G20and MERCOSUR, isan emerging market and developing country, as well as an important trading partner of Sichuan Province in Latin America.The establishment of the Consulate General of Argentinain Sichuan will actively promote cooperation between Sichuan andArgentinaand Latin American countries in investment, trade and people-to-people exchanges.

 

阿根廷是继智利、巴西之后第三个在成都设立总领事馆的拉美大国。截至目前，外国获批在川设立领事机构共23家，居中西部第1位。

 

Argentina is the thirdLatin American country to establish a consulate general in Sichuanfollowing Chile and Brazil. Up to now, a total of 23foreign countries have been approved to set up consular offices in Sichuan, ranking the first in the central and western regions.
