On February 21, Panda Guide Global Press Conference and Vision Sichuan/The Belt and Road Reports 2023 International Cultural Exchange Reception was co-sponsored by Vision Sichuanunder Sichuan Daily Press Group and The Belt and Road Reportsin Chengdu. More than 80 guests attended the event, including representatives of relevant foreign affairs agencies in Sichuan and Chongqing, heads of some foreign-funded enterprises in Chengdu, officials of relevant departments at the provincial, city and county levels, and foreign friends.

The reception was full of guests, with a warm atmosphere. At the reception, an awarding ceremony of the "Global Bashu Culture Recommendation Officer" was held, during which three representatives delivered speeches. Representative Jose Pedro Diaz Gonzalezfrom Spain said, "Chengdu is my home. Other places in Sichuan, such as Yibin, Mianyang, Zigong and Leshan, or even Chongqing also give me a sense of belonging. The cities of Sichuan have their own characteristics but they sharethe same cultural core, which exists at all corners of the province. I was once again convinced that I am really lucky to live in Sichuan."

"Journey Around Sichuan Walk & Talk" Studio, established by Vision Sichuanand The Belt and Road Reports, was inaugurated at the reception to deeply implement the “Journey Around Sichuan”event, a key project of Sichuan for "traditional Chinese culture going global". The establishment of the studio marks the movement of the event from the production of project products to the construction of industrial platforms. Since its launch in 2021, the event has attracted more than 100 foreign friends from 23 countries, who have traveled more than 5,000 kilometers. Drawing the attention of more than 21.74 million people at home and abroad, this event has built a bridge for the exchange and integration of Bashu culture and international culture. The studio will expand the event's form and enhance its connotation to build the event into a model for national-level international cultural activities to empower and boost economic development.

At this reception, the new media product "Panda Guide" created by Vision Sichuanwas officially released to the world. Panda Guide is a life service consulting mini program for foreigners. As the first of its kind in the province, it was included in list of provincial cultural industry fund construction projects in 2022. It covers all kinds of service functions, allowing international friends to search for information about Sichuan's culture and tourism anytime and anywhere. In the future, the mini program will provide more convenient life services for foreigners in cooperation with relevant government service agencies.

As key international communication media with national influence, Vision Sichuanand The Belt and Road Reportsreleased the key projects in 2023 at the reception. Zigong, Luzhou and Yibin introduced cultural and tourism resources to Chinese and foreign guests during the reception.

The live broadcast of this reception on the overseas platform of Vision Sichuanrecorded more than 50 million views. Through the live broadcast platform, Internet users left such messages as "I really want to go to Sichuan to see giant pandas and enjoy hot pot!"
