“现在是北京时间2月11日晚上11点半， 当地时间下午5点半，蓝豹救援队第一梯队已平安在叙利亚机场降落。”2月11日晚，四川凉山州雷波县蓝豹救援队一行4人抵达叙利亚地震受灾区，开展预期一个月的救援活动。

"It's 11:30 p.m. CST, and 5:30 p.m. local time, Feb.11th. The first echelon of the Blue Leopard Rescue has arrived in Syria safely." On the evening of February 11, a four-member Blue Leopard Rescue from Leibo County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan, arrived in the earthquake-affected areas of Syria and would carry out rescue operations expected to last one month.

近日发生在土耳其和叙利亚相邻地区的强震已造成两国超3.3万人遇难，震区人民急需援助。

The recent great earthquake in Turkiye and Syria has killed more than 33,000 people. People in the quake zone are in urgent need of assistance.

自费6万，雷波4名救援队员奔赴叙灾区

2月9日22时30分，雷波县蓝豹救援队邝文学、黄再波、肖飞、黄满意4名队员整装从县城出发赶往成都飞赴上海，与中国蓝豹救援队精选的第一批救援队员汇合共赴叙利亚地震灾区，开展预期时间为一个月的救援活动。

At 22:30 on February 9th, Leibo County, Kuang Wenxue, Huang Zaibo, Xiao Fei, Huang Manyi, from Blue Leopard Rescue, set off to Chengdu and flew to Shanghai. They joined with the first batch of selected members from China Blue Leopard Rescue to go to the earthquake-stricken areas in Syria to carry out rescue operations.

队员在等待出发

出发前，雷波县蓝豹救援队进行了近5小时准备，将必备的救援物资、药品、个人防护用品等打包，还带上了6面中国国旗。

Before departure, the members prepared for nearly 5 hours, packing the necessary rescue supplies such as medicines, personal protective equipment, etc. They also brought 6 Chinese flags with them.

本次支援叙利亚地震灾区的4名队员有丰富的救援经验，近年来，参加过2021年河南省新乡市水灾、2021年四川省乐山市水灾、2022年四川省泸定县6.8级地震等灾害的救援工作。

The four members of the team supporting the earthquake victims in Syria are rich in rescue experience and have participated in the rescue operations such as the flood in Xinxiang City, Henan Province in 2021, the flood in Leshan City, Sichuan Province in 2021 and the 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Luding County, Sichuan Province in 2022.

据悉，本次4名队员全是自费赴叙利亚地震灾区救援，预计每名队员将花费6万余元人民币。

It is reported that the four members are all self-funded to go to Syria. Each team member is expected to spend more than 60,000 yuan.

“他们赋予世界连接的意义”

2月10日，从成都抵达上海的雷波县蓝豹救援队4名队员汇合中国蓝豹救援队第一批队员，在上海采购每人5000余元的救援装备并作充分准备后，于2月10日23时30分左右，从上海浦东机场起飞，并于2月11日晚抵达叙利亚，随后投入救援工作。

On February 10th, four members arrived in Shanghai from Chengdu to join the first batch of China Blue Leopard Rescue. After purchasing more than 5,000 yuan of rescue equipment per person in Shanghai and making adequate preparations, they took off from Shanghai Pudong Airport at around 23:30 on February 10th, and arrived in Syria in the evening of February 11th, then put into rescue work.

来自叙利亚的理查德作为队员们的翻译、安全方面的志愿者，将为中国蓝豹救援队赴叙利亚地震灾区救援提供帮助。

Richard from Syria, as the team's interpreter and volunteer in security, provides assistance to the Chinese Blue Leopard Rescue in Syria.

中国红十字会援叙第二批物资今日启运

地震发生后，中国政府第一时间启动紧急人道主义援助机制，中国人民也纷纷自发捐款助叙利亚渡过难关。在联合国难民署公益店铺内，逾2.5万人下单，向叙利亚捐款;叙利亚驻华使馆开通官方捐款账户后短短一日内，便已收到千笔中国捐款;2月13日，中国红十字会向叙利亚地震灾区提供的第二批人道主义援助物资从北京启运，包括棉帐篷、赈济家庭包、保暖冲锋衣等生活物资和医疗物资。

After the earthquake, the Chinese government immediately launched an emergency humanitarian rescue mechanism, and Chinese people also donated to Syria. More than 25,000 people placed orders in the charity store of UNHCR, donating to Syria; On February 8th, the Syrian Embassy in China opened an official donation account and has received thousands of donations from China; on February 13th, the second batch of humanitarian relief provided by the Red Cross Society of China to Syria was shipped from Beijing, including cotton tents, family life kits, emergency clothing and other living and medical supplies.
