On January 6, 2023, the Live Streaming of Sichuan Export Commodities was successfully held in Chengdu and Deyang respectively.

The Deputy Director of Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce pointed out in her speech that cross-border e-commerce is a new track for digital trade. Sichuan adheres to the “dual incubation” development strategy of industrial belt + live broadcast talents and pioneered the “Live streaming of Sichuan export commodities" activity. Using cross-border e-commerce as a medium, Sichuan will create a new business card for cross-border e-commerce, polish a new model of talent cultivation, create a new overseas brand, and open up new channels to link the world. At the same time, “Live streaming of Sichuan export commodities" aims to build an online platform for more Sichuan characteristic industries, products and small and medium-sized enterprises to directly reach overseas consumers.

The conference has a main and branch venue in Chengdu Jinjiang Hotel and Deyang Confucian Temple Square. During the conference, the main venue in Chengdu released two cross-border e-commerce industry belts, Guangan Automobile and Motorcycle Parts and Chengdu Qingbaijiang Used Car Export, to help Sichuan's automobile and motorcycle industry connect with international customers and expand online sales channels. At the same time, the 2023 Thousand-Star Anchor Incubation Plan is launched, and it is planned to cultivate thousands of international anchors through the "real person + digital person" model, helping to drive Sichuan characteristic products to expand the channels of the international market. In addition, the Deyang sub-venue will be held simultaneously in Deyang Confucian Temple Square in the mode of "offline exhibition + online live broadcast".

In the next step, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce will co-work with the Education Department of Sichuan Provincial, the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission of Sichuan Province and other relevant departments to link cities, universities, industry associations, cross-border e-commerce platforms, foreign trade companies and digital trade services. Relying on the “Live streaming of Sichuan export commodities” base, Sichuan will continue to carry out the incubation of international anchors, organize the "International Anchors Entering the Industrial Belt" event, and help “Sichuan Creations” go overseas.
