This year marks the 30th anniversary of the "1992 Consensus" reached between the two sides.

The Overseas Chinese World Conference for Promoting Peaceful Reunification of China has kicked off on Saturday in SW China's Sichuan Province. The conference stresses that China will uphold the one-China principle and the "1992 Consensus" and advance peaceful reunification and rejuvenation.
