Qingyi River: A Green Belt in Mountains

Originating fromQionglai Mountains, Qingyi River was called Pingqiiang River or Qiang River in the ancient time.
It is said that Qingyi River was the habitation of Qingyi Group in the ancient time and it was named after it. The vanished Qingyi group had left the beautiful tale and profound historical temperament to Qingyi River.
Like a green belt meandering through the mountains, Qingyi River passes through Feixian Pass to Ya’an City, where there built the Ximen Bridge, Yazhou Bridge, Rainbow Bridge, White Marble Bridge, Daxing Bridge which have made it convenient for people to travel around.
According to the historical study, the southern “Silk Road” was through Qingyi River to Yanan, Hongya, Lehan, Yibin, Yanjin, Daguan, and to Burma and India. In Qin and Han Dynasty, Qingyi River is the most economical road between Leshan and Yaan. Therefore, Qingyi River paid was the important channel of transportation in the ancient time.
