时光回到1997年，从银行辞职南下创业的许斌，怎么也想不到自己如今撑起了四川岳池的“米粉帝国”。

In 1997, Xu Bin quit his job in a bank and went to the South to start his own business. He hadn't realized that he would build a "Rice Noodle Kingdom" later in Yuechi County, Sichuan Province.

1997年，许斌辞掉银行工作，顺着时代浪潮南下经商。

In 1997, Xu Bin quit his job in a bank and went to the South to run a business like many Chinese people did at that time.

当时，眼光独到的许斌看中IT产业，通过他的勤奋努力，他的事业蒸蒸日上，这一做，便是十年。

Xu Bin decided to join the IT industry. Through years of hard work, his business thrives and he worked as an IT practitioner for ten years.

2007年，尝试转行的许斌第一次同岳池米粉打交道。许斌对岳池米粉早有所闻，IT行业积累的十几年经验让他对很多事物有独到见解：如果仅在本地销售，米粉难以发展长远。许斌在心里画下蓝图，决心让岳池米粉为更多人熟知，走向更多人的餐桌。

In 2007, Xu Bin, who was attempting to change his profession, dealt with Yuechi rice noodles for the first time. As an IT practitioner for over ten years, he had special insights: the rice noodles had no prospects if being limited to the local. He decided to make Yuechi rice noodles familiar to more people.

创新突破，把米粉卖向世界

2012年，许斌收购的工厂仍使用剪刀、竹竿、麻绳等工具，采用传统作坊式的生产，效率低下。“当时的生产技术和销售方式都很落后。”许斌决定做一次技术改变：扩建新厂房后采购半自动化设备，组建全新的生产线。“我们的生产量也从原来的每天2吨增产到10吨。”许斌说。

In 2012, the traditional tools and workshop-style were still widely employed in the factories Xu Bin purchased, resulting in low efficiency. "The producing technology and sale method fell behind."Xu Bin decided to make some changes. He expanded the workshop, purchased semi-automation equipment and formed a new production line. "Our production increased from 2 tons per day to 10 tons per day", said Xu Bin.

理科出身的许斌，在创新研发上，有着天然的热情。在许斌和专家的努力下，他们解决了米粉在继承传统生产工艺基础上的各种技术难题，完成了生产工艺优化。

Xu Bin who majored in science in the college was passionate about innovation and research. With the help of the experts, he solved the technological difficulties in inheriting traditional production technologies and completed the technological optimization.

2000年初，工厂生产的米粉产品，由于受干粉所限，只能供应本地和周边地区的传统米粉店。志在将米粉带入更广阔世界的许斌，将目光瞄向了方便米粉。近年来，莲桥米粉从干粉逐渐变为食品企业供应方便米粉的粉团。

At the beginning of 2000, his products were only available for the local and neighboring traditional rice noodle stores due to the lack of dry noodles. With great ambition in rice noodles, Xu Bin took the instant rice noodles into consideration. In recent years, Lianqiao rice noodles have gradually developed from dry noodles to noodle balls for the instant noodles of food enterprises.

2016年开始，许斌采取与第三方电商平台合作等方式，通过互联网将岳池米粉销往世界各地。

In 2016, Xu Bin started to cooperate with e-commerce platforms to sell Yuechi rice noodles to the world through the internet.

“授人以鱼不如授人以渔”

"It's better to teach than to give"

盛夏，岳池县苟角镇花庙子村里微风习习，这里是岳池莲桥米粉原料供应产区之一。

Huamiaozi Village, Goujiao Town, Yuechi County is one of the material suppliers of Lianqiao rice noodles.

“授人以鱼不如授人以渔。”许斌明白企业的发展离不开百姓的支持。在当地村庄扩建的生产基地落成后，许斌又将邀请当地村民来工作。为了让水稻种植达到效果，许斌专门请来西南大学的农业专家为村民们指导，在他的帮助下，带动了一批村民致富。

"It's better to teach than to give."Xu Bin is clear that his business needs people's support. When the production base was completed in the local village, Xu Bin offered the jobs here to the local villagers. To improve the crop plantation, he invited agricultural experts from the Southwest University to teach the villagers, helping some of them become richer.

“米粉加工产业，实际利润很低。”在许斌看来，既然选择了这个行业，就应该扎根于此一直做下去。

"The actual profit of rice noodle processing industry is low."In Xu Bin's view, he should stick to it as he has chosen it.

如今，米粉产业成为岳池三大支柱产业之一，岳池成为“中国米粉之乡”。许斌带领生产的“莲桥”系列米粉，在岳池米粉产业集群中绝对是耀眼的一颗星。

Presently, the rice noodle industry has grown into one of the three major pillar industries in Yuechi County, and Yuechi County has developed into "the home to rice noodles". Xu Bin's "Lianqiao series"rice noodles are definitely a brilliant star in Yuechi rice noodle industry network.
