On the North of Hengduan Mountains, the West side of Shalulishan Mountain which is the offset of Bayanhar Mountains, the East bank the Jinsha River on the upper Yangtze River, there lies a land of purity: Shalulishan National Forest Park.

Entitled "The Most Beautiful Forest in China", Shalulishan National Forest Park is located in Baiyu County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan province, Shalulihan National Forest Park is the largest forest park in China, covering 591459.30 hectares of total areas, including 234104.32 hectares of forests, accounting for 95.5% of the total area. There're large quantities of natural broad-leaf forests and primeval coniferous forests in the valley at the altitude of 2600 to 4500 meters.
